Darren Tessitore, Ambassador for Drug Free World, just received the renown Freedom Medal from the International Association of Scientologists (IAS) for his work in reducing drug use in teens by a whopping estimated 50% through his work in spreading the truthful message about Drugs.

Darren Tessitore Sharing the Message about Drugs

We sat down with Darren, who was born in Dedham, Massachusetts (south of Boston) who laid open the raw truth about how fentanyl is ravaging cities and lives at a super young age. His full interview is on the DDN podcast Episode 8 below, he also reveals how his own personal journey off of drugs happened through a Scientologist helping him come off and him starting with Dianetics. The stories here are so intense, including about a teenager who took one hit on a vape and was in a coma for 3 days!

His message has directly reached millions of people and countless have not used because of him. When we talk about making a better world, his work is the type of work we are talking about. He has been fighting for his buddy who died in a car wreck when he was young, so his tragic death would mean something. His death may have no been in vain, if we can stop enough deaths from happening with the dedication that Darren has taken on since then.

He joins two other legendary Scientologists, Diane Stein and Nancy Cartwright as new IAS Freedom Medal awardees. All the materials that they use to spread the message of peace and real help comes from funding through the IAS.

Often, the winners of the Freedom Medal have been working on real help for decades before they receive their Medal. However, their work is generally highlighted along the way, ever since the Scientology Network has gone live. Darren’s episode in the Voices for Humanity first aired on 8 May 2019,

He has been steadfast at his mission to free the world from the scourge of drugs long before the episode aired, and will continue long after he just received his medal.

One thing we’ve seen over and over is that when Scientologists find the fire inside, lit by really wanting to help people, they literally change the world in huge ways.

Congrats to Darren & all the people he’s helped to be drug free.
