The easiest Scientology locations to find are the largest, and what we call “Ideal Organizations” – the Official Scientology Church Locator shows these upfront, at the top of the results.
These Ideal Orgs are where you can do almost all that Scientology has to offer, the staff are high-trained, the personnel are plenty, with many services to offer. Specifically you can train become and auditor that can audit people to the State of Clear as defined in Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, and of course receive all of the counseling up to Clear as well.
If you’re living in a Major city in the United States of America, there are VERY HIGH chances that you will have a Church of Scientology near you, this includes Scientology Miami, Scientology Los Angeles, Scientology New York, Scientology Seattle, Scientology Ohio and on and on and on.
However, let’s say you’re in Richmond, Virginia; there is no full Church of Scientology in Virginia. There is an Ideal Church in Washington D.C. and there are a few options of things you can do before you might have a chance to get down there: 1) Buy and read a Book, like Dianetics or Self Analysis to prepare for your trip there, the more you know when you come in, the better and more you will get done with limited time; and 2) You can call in to the nearest Church and ask for local groups near you; and 3) After you get started, it doesn’t take a whole lot to open up a group in your own area, and you’re welcome to join the I-HELP group (International Hubbard Ecclesiastical League of Pastors).
If you’re outside of the USA, the Church locator also works and you can call the nearest Church to you as well. So the instructions are pretty straightforward either way.
This is a journey that is very easy to get started on and very easy to see how quickly Scientology works. In a few days you should have something in your life improved — it doesn’t take forever to get a result. It’s quite marvelous, and Scientology does not ask you to change your religion – in fact, it’s encouraged that rather than leave your religion, after you learn techniques of study, you actually can learn the teachings more thoroughly.
You can simply walk in, or call in advance to schedule a tour, and many people starting out start with a free personality test & evaluation. It was absolutely mind-blowing to me when I did it, and I had great changes in my entire outlook on life in 3 weeks. Give it a shot, there’s so much to gain. If it wasn’t so effective, there wouldn’t be so much marketing dollars spent trying to get you not to come in :).
