Scientologists are often confused with other movements, religions or groups. Primarily this is because Scientology is new, it was founded with the first Church in 1952. At this time it is less than 75 years old. In comparison, the Christian Church is estimated to be around 1800 to 2000 years old. Any new movement is questioned, as people do not know it.
The Leader of the Scientology Religion, Mr. David Miscavige, exposed that the attacks on Scientology were ultimate fueled by Big Pharma, and more specifically Eli Lilly. Luckily now more of their income is coming from other drugs than anti-psychotics, anti-depressants, SSRIs, which have been heavily and thoroughly debunked by the Citizens Commission on Human Rights through many documentaries.
While I am very far from an expert in the Freemasons, it’s something entirely different than Scientology. Freemasons is not a religion, and is not spiritual in nature, but is focused on fraternity. To become a Freemason, you need to have two Freemason’s in good standing vouch for you, according to a 33rd Degree Freemason on the PBD Show.
To be part of Scientology, you can simply walk in to your closest Church of Scientology and start the studies and auditing. So the process of joining is very different. In Scientology, we believe that you have been around much longer than the time of this body, that you are a spiritual being, and you have a mind and you have a body. We talk to you as a spirit to increase your unlimited potential.
Being in either of the groups takes discipline and changing yourself.
