I bet you that you will not be able to find out the secrets of Scientology.
Why? Because they are hidden in plain sight. In all libraries of Churches of Scientology there are hundreds and hundreds of books and millions of words on Scientology, and most will not dedicate the time to study the materials. In one of the Advanced Clinical Course lectures, L. Ron Hubbard talks about the true things that happened at the parting of the sea with Moses. I heard tidbits of it but never got to that lecture.
There are stories, some even incredible, but the truth of the matter is, if there’s anything in Scientology that isn’t true for you, then you simply discard it and don’t follow it. This isn’t like a Sunday school where you are told that you couldn’t ask questions or that you must accept and not challenge anything. Rather, in Scientology you can simply not believe in something and it’s no big deal.
When I first started in Scientology I had a hard time believing that anyone could really remember a former life. But no one asks you to believe in that. However in the process of auditing, you likely will come to a time, if you are involved in it for a while, that you are able to recover the ability to remember the past before this body.
The purpose of addressing the past actually is covered in a book called “Scientology: A History of Man” this is a book where you’ll read about things that have occurred long long ago. You do not have to believe in any of it, and truthfully, for me the most revealing thing of the book is the OPENING & Chapter 1, where Hubbard discusses WHY this book and why talk about things ages past… It’s simply and only because when a person addresses things in the past, he has improvement here and now. Until you experience this first-hand it’s quite unbelievable and in fact unnecessary to believe it. If, during your auditing, you are able to contact a previous life when a time might come, you may just see that certain aches or pains or repressions or compulsions may just have stemmed from something that occurred in the past, and if that resolved, then that’s all that’s important.
