Noah Valinsky has worked with some of the biggest stars in the world.
In this episode of the Don’t Do Nothing Podcast, professional choreographer Noah Valinsky tells his story: a self-taught kid from the Chicago club scene who talked his way into the industry and ended up choreographing and dancing for Taylor Swift, Usher, Pink, Gwen Stefani, Meghan Trainor, and shows like Will & Grace and Fuller House. But underneath the career was a wild, self-destructive life of clubs, drugs, and chasing the wrong things, which finally caught up with him in a drunk-driving crash that cost him his car, his job, his home, and nearly his life.
That was the turning point. Noah walked into the Scientology Celebrity Centre in Los Angeles, did Dianetics and the Purification Rundown, and rebuilt everything. Today he’s a Church of Scientology staff member in Las Vegas, a devoted husband and father, and, with his wife, the voice behind a 700,000-follower channel built on one message: be a good man. He gets real about why he believes the flashy party life leaves people miserable, why artists are so important, and how learning to actually confront and handle problems changed his whole life.

Text Version
[00:00:00] Noah: And so I blacked out, car was totaled. I went to jail, lost my job. It was it. Mm. The next thing is death, but you only have so much time, and it could be too late.
[00:00:07] Aaron: He has performed with the likes of Meghan Trainor, Taylor Swift, Usher, Gwen Stefani, Pink. Yeah.
[00:00:12] Noah: I learned how to dance because you could pick up chicks, which is funny ’cause it kind of, later on, we’ll get to it, ruined my life.
[00:00:19] Noah: Still have a broken nose. I got this scar here. There was a hole through my face. I flipped a car. Everything that is going on in mental health today can be fixed with Dianetics. Literally, like I’ve changed my life- Mm-hmm … like around completely.
[00:00:30] Aaron: Guys, today we have Noah Valinski, okay? Born and raised in Chicago, this man is a professional choreographer and dancer.
[00:00:39] Aaron: He has performed with the likes of Meghan Trainor, Taylor Swift, Usher, Gwen Stefani, Pink, Florence & The Machine, Incubus, one of my favorites.
[00:00:47] They’re great.
[00:00:47] Aaron: Mm-hmm. Um, choreographed for Will & Grace and Fuller House on TV. This man and his wife have an episode on Meet a Scientologist on Scientology TV. We’ll put a link down below.
[00:00:57] Aaron: He works as a [00:01:00] church staff member in the Church of Scientology of Vegas.
[00:01:03] Noah: That’s right.
[00:01:03] Aaron: Okay? Let’s go. Uh, very raw place, guys, Las Vegas, if you know what I mean, so we’re gonna have a, a raw guy living in a raw place. Um, 700,000 followers on social media on his parenting and dance channel. Mm. Um, Claude and…
[00:01:16] Aaron: The Valinskis, I mean. The
[00:01:17] Noah: Valinskis,
[00:01:18] Aaron: yeah. So Valinskis is the channel. Yeah, yeah. All right? Uh, he’s also a father to six-year-old Nova.
[00:01:23] Noah: That’s right.
[00:01:23] Aaron: Um, so man, this guy has a lot going on, and today we’re bringing him on to the Don’t Do Nothing podcast. Noah, welcome.
[00:01:29] Noah: Thank you. Let’s go, Noah. Thank you so much for having me, man.
[00:01:31] Noah: I’m so excited to be here. This is gonna be cool.
[00:01:33] Aaron: Absolutely, dude. So bro, I, I wanna know something, like- The control of your body to do these crazy stuff and everything- Mm … bro, like, man, I, I, I’m like, I’m just impressed, dude. That’s crazy. Like-
[00:01:44] Noah: Thanks,
[00:01:44] Aaron: man … when, when did you start this, like, passion of, like, dance and art and, like…
[00:01:48] Aaron: Obviously, you know, you treat your body as a, as a canvas with these tattoos. Yeah. Like, when did they start?
[00:01:54] Noah: The real story?
[00:01:55] Aaron: Yeah.
[00:01:56] Noah: I learned how to dance because you could pick up chicks.
[00:01:59] Aaron: Oh. [00:02:00]
[00:02:00] Noah: No way. Yeah. Well, actually, lies. That was, like, the second part. Okay. The first part is I used to go to this roller rink when I was…
[00:02:07] Noah: I’m from Chicago, right? Yeah. So the roller rink we used to go to, and we used to do all the dance stuff on skates and all that. So I did that, and then my friends were like, “Let’s go to the club.” And I was like, “No,” ’cause I was like somebody at the roller rink. You know what I’m saying? I was, like, 13, 14. And I was like, “I’m this cool kid.”
[00:02:22] Noah: You know, the little 13-year-old girl was like, “Oh, my God, no.” You know what I mean?
[00:02:24] Aaron: Did you do the crazy stuff like backwards
[00:02:27] Noah: and this? Yeah, yeah, all that shit. All that weird wheel stuff that spins
[00:02:29] Aaron: and then- What’s the cra- Like, what’s the, what’s the craziest stuff that you got on the, on the rink?
[00:02:32] Noah: I, dude, I, I don’t know.
[00:02:34] Noah: Like, there’s this weird move I can do with on one wheel e- edge and this other wheel edge, and it’s like, looks like it’s going like this, and it’s just like smoothly… I don’t know. It’s really weird. Oh. Oh. Like, it just goes straight, and you’re like… Yeah.
[00:02:45] Brad: It
[00:02:45] Noah: looks… It’s, it’s super cool.
[00:02:47] Aaron: Nice, nice.
[00:02:48] Nice,
[00:02:48] Brad: nice.
[00:02:49] Brad: You know, it’s funny. I actually remember that. Going to, like, the skating rink as a kid, the one guy who could do crazy stuff on- Yeah, yeah … the, the… Everybody was just like, “Look at that guy.” That was me. He’s like god of [00:03:00] the
[00:03:00] Noah: skating rink. You have everything. Exactly. Yeah,
[00:03:00] Brad: yeah, yeah.
[00:03:01] Noah: Yeah, so you get it. Yeah. So I was like, “I’m not leaving this place.
[00:03:03] Noah: This is my-” Yeah. “… you know, this is my haven.” Yeah, yeah. And then they were like, “Well, there’s chicks at this club.” And I was like, “Yes.” Done. “Let’s go.” And then so- Which is funny ’cause it kind of r- later on will get to it, ruined my life. But like Okay, okay. But anyways, I learned how to dance from them and doing that, and then it was like the whole, like, you know, the whole cliche battle scene in Chicago, and it was like- Oh,
[00:03:25] dude.
[00:03:25] Noah: Yeah, like you’re going to clubs you shouldn’t be going to. You’re too young to go there. You’re in the city, and then you’re like, you know, the only white dude there, and you’re like… It’s, it was awesome. It was the best. Wow. Those were the best clubs to go to.
[00:03:37] Aaron: So this is like classic, like, Step Up kinda
[00:03:39] Noah: stuff.
[00:03:39] Noah: Literally. It’s like so s- For real? Like I swear to God, that’s like, that’s literally the story. And it’s funny because my wife is, like, the trained dancer, and I’m not trained in any s- any, any aspect. Not at all. In fact, every time I do something, she actually has to yell at me and say, “This is the way you actually do it.”
[00:03:55] Noah: And I was like, “Wow.” ‘Cause I’m so used to doing it this one way. And so it’s literally [00:04:00] the classic Step Up story. It’s so weird, but it’s true. It’s like literally- And you’re, and
[00:04:04] Brad: you’re… Wait, who’s the, who’s the main character? Is it Channing
[00:04:06] Noah: Tatum in Step Up? No, that’s like the, um… Which one was that? I don’t know.
[00:04:09] Noah: Was it like-
[00:04:10] Aaron: That was like Magic Mike, dude. I mean, that was Magic Mike, but it was- You’re
[00:04:13] Brad: watching
[00:04:13] Aaron: something else, bro.
[00:04:13] Brad: You’re
[00:04:14] Noah: watching something else,
[00:04:14] Brad: Brad. Whoops. Whoops. Sorry. It’s all
[00:04:15] Noah: right, Brad. It’s okay. We know now, which is fine.
[00:04:19] Brad: That’s
[00:04:19] Noah: right.
[00:04:20] Brad: Oh, gosh.
[00:04:21] Noah: I auditioned for that. I didn’t make it.
[00:04:23] Brad: Are you for
[00:04:23] Noah: real?
[00:04:23] Noah: I swear to God, I auditioned so many times. Wait, wait, the movie or the- Wait, for Step Up or for Magic Mike? Magic Mike.
[00:04:28] Aaron: Okay, okay, okay.
[00:04:29] Noah: There was a show in Vegas that was gonna be when I lived in LA, and then I auditioned for it a bunch of times. I made it all the way to the end, and they never- Oh, bro
[00:04:36] Noah: picked me. And then one time I called the choreographer. I was in the parking lot about to jump in the audition, and I was like, I was like, “I’m just gonna call her.” I was like, “Why do you have me come to these?” Because they have to call, your agent’s like, “Hey, these are my people.” They’re like, “Bring these people.”
[00:04:47] Noah: “Yes.” And they sign off on who they want to see physically. And then I was like- Why do you want me here? You never pick me.
[00:04:54] Yeah.
[00:04:55] Noah: I make it all the way to the end. I actually did this job with Channing. He owned a [00:05:00] restaurant in New Orleans.
[00:05:01] Yeah.
[00:05:01] Noah: And there was like a reality TV show about his restaurant and, like, this burlesque show that they put in the restaurant, and it was me and two other guys and three other girls, I think it was about it, maybe even more girls.
[00:05:13] Noah: And it was like, followed us along, cameras, doing the dance routine during the nights, and, like, I would hang out with him. We’d have some drinks. Like, he’s cool as shit. Yeah. And then, so I went to the first audition, it was him, and then it was, it was his wife at the time, and it was his baby. And then they’re like, I brought out the skates.
[00:05:28] Noah: I did all this stuff, and it was like we were in, and I was like, “I’m getting this job.” No.
[00:05:32] Brad: Oh, wow. Never
[00:05:33] Aaron: got it.
[00:05:33] Brad: Wow.
[00:05:34] Aaron: Do, uh, do you think it might… Like, I’m just thinking, like, I, I… Is it maybe ’cause you got a lot of tattoos, bro, and they want, like, this guy- No … who looks clean? Like, what’s
[00:05:40] Noah: the reason? It literally, like, she told me this one time.
[00:05:42] Noah: There’s this guy, Ryan, he’s a friend of mine, and he’s epic. And he’s, he’s like… This, this show is so dope, and, like, this guy comes down on the drums and he’s just like, “Da, da, da,” like crushing it, and that’s Ryan. And so they’re like- Mm … “Well, we picked Ryan.” And I was like, “Okay.” But there were still, like, other guys do- Like, it could’ve, but, like, that was what I was told.[00:06:00]
[00:06:00] Noah: But y- like, you never know.
[00:06:01] Brad: Yeah.
[00:06:01] Noah: Yeah. You never know what it is.
[00:06:03] Brad: Yeah.
[00:06:03] Noah: Could be they don’t like you. Maybe you hurt their friend’s feelings. Yeah. Right, right, right. Something, who knows? You know what I mean? Like, it, it… Who knows? That’s why you just, like, in the industry, you’re just like, “Cool. Next.” Yeah. Like, it doesn’t matter.
[00:06:15] Yeah, yeah,
[00:06:15] Noah: yeah. Yeah. Just go for numbers. You’re just like, “Hopefully, maybe next time I’ll get it.” I don’t know. Right,
[00:06:18] right, right.
[00:06:18] Noah: Exactly. Numbers.
[00:06:19] Aaron: Okay. Yeah.
[00:06:20] Noah: So that’s, like, how I started, like, all my , basically, was, like, that kind of thing.
[00:06:26] Aaron: Do you, do you have any videos, dude, of these dance battles at all? No.
[00:06:29] Aaron: Like, no? No, man,
[00:06:30] Noah: because I’m too old for that with
[00:06:31] Aaron: the phones
[00:06:32] Noah: and everything.
[00:06:32] Aaron: Yeah, yeah. Okay, okay. Yeah, yeah, no,
[00:06:34] Noah: I get it. The last generation didn’t have it, you know what I’m saying? What a shame. I’m low-key, like, excited that there were no phones at that, those times, but, like, there is nothing. There is no evidence.
[00:06:43] Aaron: Yeah.
[00:06:43] Noah: Nothing.
[00:06:46] Aaron: Fine, fine. All right, so you got started in, in that, right? And you’re like, you’re, you’re doing the… How long does this period last? Like, dance battles on the street
[00:06:54] Brad: Wait, was it literally on the street? Okay,
[00:06:58] Noah: I’m confused. No, like I- ‘Cause I haven’t seen Step Up … on, on underground or no- I haven’t seen Step Up
[00:06:59] Noah: it’s not like that. It’s like, [00:07:00] okay, like you would literally, it was just clubs that had names that played certain type of music, you know what I mean? Yeah. And like for us it was like Chicago’s the birthpla- birthplace of house music. So it would be ghetto house. Yeah. And it would be like these crazy beats that would just go on and they’d, they’d just make you feel like, for me anyways, that like you’re just like, you’re like, “Oh yeah, like I’m gonna shit up,” and then like you do another dance floor.
[00:07:21] Noah: It sounds so lame when you say it like that. But when you’re growing up and you’re doing… We have this style, it’s called Chicago footwork. Yeah. And so it was like one of the beginnings of that, it was like learning that, doing the footwork, having f- like it was so much fun.
[00:07:35] Mm.
[00:07:35] Noah: You’d get out of there, you’re sweaty, nasty.
[00:07:37] Noah: It’d be like whatever in the morning and you’re like, “Hell yeah.” Like it was just so much fun, man.
[00:07:40] Brad: Yeah.
[00:07:41] Noah: So it was just depending on what club was playing what music and what night that club was, and there’s all these different nights at all these different clubs and all, all this different music, and you would just, this is what we were doing.
[00:07:50] Noah: That’s cool. That was like life for a long time.
[00:07:52] Brad: Mm.
[00:07:53] Noah: I moved to LA when I was about 17, and then I went back and forth to [00:08:00] Chicago and like actually I got an agent. Actually Pink, it’s funny, Pink was one of my last jobs, and she was the first person like I actually met like that, and I got this number from one of her dancers at the club in Chicago that I used to go to.
[00:08:12] Noah: And I was like, “How do you do this?” You know, like, “What’s the next thing for me,” right? And they gave me this number, and then when I moved to LA like years later, I was like, “Oh , I’m in the same area code.” Called and it was an agency. And I was like, I thought like you just kinda show ’em what’s up. So I went to Tower Records on Sunset, bought like this CD from Basement Jaxx.
[00:08:29] Noah: I don’t know if you guys remember Basement Jaxx at all.
[00:08:31] Brad: No.
[00:08:31] Noah: Okay. They were super dope.
[00:08:33] Brad: Yeah.
[00:08:33] Noah: So Basement Jaxx. Bought a CD, was like, “I’m gonna freestyle and maybe they’ll pick me.” Like that’s my mentality. No, I roll up, there’s hundreds of people there.
[00:08:40] Brad: Wow.
[00:08:41] Noah: Hundreds. And I was like, “Okay.” Like I had no idea what was going on.
[00:08:45] Noah: Mm-hmm. Like just like kind of dumb to like what was happening. And then just little by little they l- we learned choreography. We showed them the choreography. Some people didn’t get picked. And went all the way down the line and there was like I, there’s a [00:09:00] few of us, and I got picked.
[00:09:01] Brad: Yeah.
[00:09:01] Noah: Uh, people were crying.
[00:09:03] Noah: Yeah. Like it was like a big deal to like… And it was an agent- it was like a big agency in LA, and I made it, and then I just started doing a bunch of work. It was literally like I just didn’t care. I wasn’t like, “Oh my God, I need this.” I was like, “Cool. Whatever.” I knew like what I could do and I could do really, really well, and so I just showed up.
[00:09:23] Noah: That was like it.
[00:09:24] Brad: I’ve always wondered when there’s like a huge crowd of people all going for like a very limited like-
[00:09:29] Noah: Mm-hmm …
[00:09:30] Brad: couple of slots in something like in a- Yeah … in a rehearsal. Is it like, do you experience like you’re just waiting? I would imagine. You can correct me if I’m wrong. I imagine you’re just waiting for hours and then it’s like, boom, now perform.
[00:09:42] Brad: Yeah. And it’s just like, is that diffi- Like is that difficult for you?
[00:09:45] Noah: I mean, no. It’s really not. Really? Yeah. It’s really just kind of- Yeah … whatever, to be honest.
[00:09:51] Brad: Yeah.
[00:09:51] Noah: Like it’s, it depends on what’s going through your head. Like you could, it could be difficult. Mm-hmm. You could be like sweating bullets and blah blah blah and, and [00:10:00] nerves and everything.
[00:10:00] Noah: But you know, if you can do it-
[00:10:03] Brad: Mm …
[00:10:04] Noah: and you should be able to do it, then you should just be able to go in there and do it.
[00:10:07] Yeah.
[00:10:07] Noah: You know what I mean? It’s like as simple as like, are you capable? So go be capable.
[00:10:11] Brad: Yeah.
[00:10:12] Noah: And you know, it really is your energy. Like it, they could not know what they want.
[00:10:17] Brad: Mm.
[00:10:18] Noah: And they just like-
[00:10:18] Brad: Oh, they’re just looking for somebody to
[00:10:21] Noah: show them
[00:10:21] Noah: they’re looking for somebody to show them. Like, like, you know what I mean? Oh my God, I never considered that. Like there is, there is a choreographer teaching a routine to see what you can do.
[00:10:26] Brad: Mm.
[00:10:26] Noah: And so you can do the routine perfectly and, and, and be like, “That’s-” But they might- … but that, that’s, that’s what they want.
[00:10:32] Noah: “I want just perfection.” Mm. Or they’re like, “Hey, what do you bring to the table?” Right? Mm. Because a lot of people, especially in life, there’s no energy behind something.
[00:10:41] Mm-hmm.
[00:10:41] Noah: And with dance or performing, the reason why you get sucked into a character is because they’re so good at their job of being not anything else.
[00:10:51] Noah: Mm. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. It’s like the basic, basic of the thing that they’re doing is shining.
[00:10:57] Brad: Yeah.
[00:10:57] Noah: So then the people are like, “Oh, sh- [00:11:00] I wanna be around that.” I was good because you wanted to be around me.
[00:11:04] Brad: Mm.
[00:11:04] Noah: And I was also like really good at showing up early. Like I, like I knew what people wanted- Mm
[00:11:10] Noah: when it came to like the things. ‘Cause it’s gotta be hard. And then most of the people get a job and they’re like, “Eh.” They used… You know what I mean? They used to say, “You wanna hear a dancer complain? Give ’em a job.”
[00:11:20] Aaron: Oh.
[00:11:20] Noah: Yeah. Oh, like a job dancing? They would just… Well, then you hear it. Yes. Yes. Oh, man. You would be on set and they would just b- I’m like…
[00:11:26] Noah: I would sit there for… Sometimes you would sit there for 12 hours and not even do anything, and near the end of the night they’d be like, “Okay, it’s your shot. We gotta do this in three takes.” And you’re like, “Oh.” And they don’t care. Like, it’s so wild to get to like, dance is such a weird thing because you have to also know everybody else’s job on set.
[00:11:47] Mm. ‘
[00:11:47] Noah: Cause you have to know where the lighting is, where the camera is, you know, where this line is, where’s the artist, pull back. Like, you gotta know your space.
[00:11:54] Mm.
[00:11:55] Noah: And if, and like, and it’s so, it looks so easy because you’re so good at it, but it’s [00:12:00] like somebody’s like, “Give me 30 seconds,” and you’re like, “Mu- bitch, that’s a long ass time.”
[00:12:04] Noah: 30 seconds or a minute? Somebody says a minute, you’re like, “Ooh.”
[00:12:07] Aaron: Like, we’re ready to go.
[00:12:09] Noah: I mean, a minute- Yeah. They’re like, “Dance a minute energy-wise,” fine. But like, create something, choreograph something, do something in a minute, you’re like That’s a long time, bro.
[00:12:16] Aaron: Hmm.
[00:12:17] Noah: But anyways, they want you to do that, and it’s like, so you sit around for a set for 12 hours and, you know.
[00:12:22] Noah: But I’m like, “Yo, you could be working at Foot Locker.”
[00:12:24] Brad: Mm. “
[00:12:24] Noah: You could be serving up, you know, burgers at McDonald’s.” And not that those jobs are bad, but it’s just like you could be doing something that’s less- I mean, they’re pretty
[00:12:32] Brad: bad. They’re pr- like,
[00:12:33] Aaron: let’s- No, well, hold on, hold on … agree I, bro- Consi- Hold on
[00:12:35] Noah: comparing-
[00:12:36] Brad: Oh no, he’s gonna do the McDonald’s thing.
[00:12:37] Aaron: No, no, I’m not gonna- Okay. No, I’m gonna do, I’m gonna talk about Dolly Parton, dude. Yeah. So Dolly Parton, obviously as you guys know, like she just passed. Yeah. But she left a massive legacy, and there was a, there was a… Damn, I forgot who was, who was working with her on set.
[00:12:48] Aaron: But, uh, it was another actress, and they were on set, and it was really hot. And this lady’s complaining about being hot, being hot, being hot, and she asked Dolly, like, “Dolly, you’ve been on this thing. It’s been, like, burning hot for like 10 hours. Like, why aren’t you [00:13:00] complaining?” And she goes, “Listen, when I was a little girl, I wanted to be famous, and I wanted to be an actress, and I wanted to be a singer, and here I am.”
[00:13:09] Aaron: Mm. “So I’m never gonna cl- complain about it.” Yes,
[00:13:11] Noah: ex- exactly. Wow.
[00:13:12] Aaron: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And, and after that moment, this other lady, whoever this other actress was, if we find the clip, we’ll find the clip. But like, she’s like, “I never complained again,” like, or, “I tried not to.” Yeah. Like Dolly- Mm-hmm … is the example that everyone needs- Mm-hmm
[00:13:21] Aaron: to set because it’s like- Yeah … you’re grateful. Look at this crazy thing you have. Like you, you just wanted to dance, and now you’re dancing professionally. Who gets to do that? Almost nobody.
[00:13:29] Noah: Right. Yeah. And like- Yeah … one of my first jobs, I worked on, um, Goldmember, Austin Powers.
[00:13:34] Aaron: Oh my
[00:13:35] Noah: God. That’s funny.
[00:13:35] Noah: Really? So I’m, I- We gotta
[00:13:36] Aaron: get that clip. Is that in
[00:13:37] Noah: the movie? No, you can’t see it ’cause they fucking cut the part. Okay. I still get residuals to this day.
[00:13:41] Aaron: Okay, yeah.
[00:13:42] Noah: No way. Like $5. But
[00:13:43] Aaron: they cut it? What do you mean? Wow. How do you get residuals if they cut it?
[00:13:45] Noah: I, like, nowadays you have to be seen.
[00:13:48] Aaron: Okay.
[00:13:48] Noah: So I don’t know if I got- Mm
[00:13:49] Noah: like, an arm in there.
[00:13:50] Aaron: Okay.
[00:13:50] Noah: I didn’t really see anything. You know what I’m saying? Like, I didn’t see , or there were so many people and they were like, “Just give it.” Like, I don’t really understand that- Okay, yeah, yeah … to be honest, to this day. I’m like, [00:14:00] “Screw it.” I don’t, I never asked- Yeah. Okay, yeah, yeah
[00:14:01] Noah: ’cause I was like, “Sick, I’m getting paid.” Like I don’t-
[00:14:03] Brad: Uh-huh.
[00:14:04] Noah: Don’t bite it … even ask and like stop- They might not
[00:14:05] Brad: remember … mid-stage. Yeah,
[00:14:05] Noah: yeah.
[00:14:06] Brad: Correct, correct,
[00:14:06] Noah: correct. And be like, “Get the hell out of here.”
[00:14:07] Brad: Oh, actually you’re right.
[00:14:08] Noah: Yeah. Your ear
[00:14:09] Aaron: got in there. Yeah,
[00:14:09] Noah: yeah. Yeah, yeah. But like-
[00:14:12] Brad: Hopefully it’s that ear.
[00:14:12] Noah: I, I know, right? Did it
[00:14:13] Brad: have a tattoo on you sh- when you
[00:14:14] Noah: shot? No. Oh, okay. I was way less, I was afraid to get tattoos then.
[00:14:17] Brad: Oh.
[00:14:17] Noah: Yeah, ’cause I didn’t wanna like ruin my reputation- Right, right … and like not get work, right? But on that set, they actually had one on my back. They covered it up with makeup, and I was like, “Oh, we’re good here.”
[00:14:25] Brad: Okay. Wow.
[00:14:26] Noah: Yeah, so I get, I didn’t know where this place was. I just moved to LA. I didn’t have a car. So this friend of mine, she let me borrow her car, and I get there, find parking, blah, blah, blah. This lady, I’m, I can picture it as vividly as possible in my head. She comes out of this trailer and like just starts yelling at me, and I was like- She– And the first thing she said, she goes– And I was late.
[00:14:49] Noah: She goes, “Do you have a job?” I was like, “What?” She goes– And I’m like, “Well, I’m confused. This is a job. Like, do I have another job? Like, I don’t under-understand.” Like, “Do you have a job?” And I was like, “Yes.” She goes, “Are you [00:15:00] late to that job?” And I was like, “No.” She’s like, “This is your job.” And I was like, “Oh, .” Yeah.
[00:15:07] Noah: Got it. From then on, like that’s probably what set my ethics level to like a standard was that lady-
[00:15:14] Wow …
[00:15:14] Noah: literally looking at me like, “This is your job.”
[00:15:17] Mm. “
[00:15:17] Noah: This isn’t a fun game you get to play in the entertainment industry.” Like, “This is serious.” Mm. “We all take this serious,” and people don’t take it serious.
[00:15:24] Noah: And, and like again, like dancers are the same way, like a lot of them. It’s like you wanna hear– That’s like an old saying. I don’t know if it is in the industry anymore. If the industry has gotten better, thank you. But you know, that’s just one of the things. And it was just wild. Like people would just complain.
[00:15:40] Noah: Wow. They’d have something to bitch about. Yeah. And I’ll be like- Tell me when to jump, how high. I do not give a . Yeah,
[00:15:46] Brad: yeah.
[00:15:47] Noah: Yeah. ‘Cause I’m getting paid regardless of what we do.
[00:15:49] Brad: What, what, what, uh, what set was that on?
[00:15:51] Noah: Austin Powers.
[00:15:52] Brad: That, oh, that was on Gold Member.
[00:15:53] Noah: That was on Gold Member.
[00:15:54] Brad: Oh, wow.
[00:15:54] Aaron: So that lady, do you know who that was at all?
[00:15:56] Noah: I was gonna ask, do you know her? Okay,
[00:15:57] Aaron: okay.
[00:15:57] Noah: It’s almost like you got this, like, picture of, like, your [00:16:00] dream where you see, like, the outline of the person, and she had dark hair coming down with a piece of paper in her hand. No real face ’cause I can’t make it out. In jeans and a white T-shirt, I think, and I was like…
[00:16:10] Aaron: She got you.
[00:16:11] Noah: Just f- impinged on my reality and life, and from then on, I had this mental image picture of her just like- Like, “You can’t
[00:16:17] Aaron: be late.” Oh,
[00:16:17] Noah: oh, oh. “This is like how…” Got it. Like, stored, never again. Fucking shit.
[00:16:22] Aaron: Wow. That’s amazing.
[00:16:24] Noah: I know. It’s pretty cool. It’s pretty cool how some of those things happen.
[00:16:26] Noah: Like, there’s moments of that, of life where you’re like, “Okay, this is gonna either help me or I’m just not gonna listen,” and be like, “That lady was mean.” Like…
[00:16:33] Aaron: Yeah. Yeah, and what, what about your parents? Like, uh, how, how were you, like, raised? Were your parents like, “You need to be on time for jobs,” or this?
[00:16:40] Aaron: You guys never talked about it? Like, just, I don’t know, just curious about that. Nothing. No. Nothing.
[00:16:43] Brad: Also,
[00:16:44] Noah: what did
[00:16:44] Brad: your parents think about this, the, the profession of being a professional dancer?
[00:16:48] Noah: I mean, it’s so weird. Like, I don’t… I’m not, like, putting anything down on my parents because I don’t remember a lot of how these things went down.
[00:16:58] Noah: I mean, my [00:17:00] parents, my dad moved to LA. I don’t really know why. He had a really good profession and just decided to leave, and I was like…
[00:17:06] Brad: What did he do?
[00:17:07] Noah: He was a foot doctor.
[00:17:08] Brad: Mm.
[00:17:08] Noah: He was a podiatrist.
[00:17:09] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:17:10] Noah: And then it was like, “I’m going to LA to act,” and I was like-
[00:17:14] Aaron: He was going to LA
[00:17:14] Noah: that- Yeah. Oh. It didn’t make any fucking sense.
[00:17:16] Noah: I was like, “Well, cool, see you later.” I was like 17, I’m like, “I’m not going anywhere.” Like, I have this life- Mm.
[00:17:22] Brad: Mm …
[00:17:22] Noah: and these friends and these things. Like, I’m just gonna go to LA because you wanna do– I go, “This doesn’t make any sense.” So we– I have four sisters, took off with a couple of them, a couple of them stayed, and my mom.
[00:17:32] Noah: And then, you know, I was just getting into a shit ton of trouble. I guess the best way to say it is they supported it, but, like, I just did what I wanted to do regardless.
[00:17:39] Aaron: Yep. So I see you got this, uh, you got the hat. Oh, yeah. Anti Side Chick Husbands Club. That’s right. So I imagine that this, this idea didn’t start when you were, like, 13 or 15 or 16.
[00:17:51] Noah: No, this was, like, during COVID.
[00:17:53] Aaron: Right.
[00:17:54] Noah: Well, the story goes is I used to be such a piece of shit when it came to, like, [00:18:00] just being a good man. Mm. I was like, if there were girls, I was like, “Let’s go.” I was… It was hard for me to be, you know, what’s the word? Monogamous.
[00:18:11] Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
[00:18:12] Noah: You ever seen The Mask?
[00:18:13] Noah: The movie The Mask? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I love that statement in there. She was like, “S- Most men think monogamy is some kind of wood instead of mahogany.” What
[00:18:23] Noah: a classic movie. Wow. It’s so… It’s– Yeah, I know. It’s so funny, that line. I haven’t seen
[00:18:26] Brad: that forever.
[00:18:26] Noah: I should write that on a hat. But, like, I looked at myself and I was like, I, like, I have my newborn son, I have my wife. Like I’ve, I’m literally like I’ve changed my life- Mm-hmm … like around completely. But if you were to look at me, maybe you wouldn’t think that I’m that type of guy.
[00:18:40] Noah: Mm.
[00:18:40] Brad: Mm.
[00:18:41] Noah: You know? Like, that I’m an actual good fucking husband. It’s better, like, now because all social media is like, “Be a man, be a good man,” you know what I mean? Which is great. Mm. But before it wasn’t like that.
[00:18:50] Brad: Yep. That’s right.
[00:18:50] Noah: So I was like, I know a bunch of guys that look like pieces of shit.
[00:18:54] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:18:55] Noah: But they’re good husbands.
[00:18:56] Brad: Mm.
[00:18:57] Noah: And they would literally look at you. I got a buddy of mine who [00:19:00] literally would just burn, let the world burn and watch it from a porch in a rocking chair with lemonade as long as he had his wife, and wouldn’t care-
[00:19:09] Yeah …
[00:19:09] Noah: because she was there. Like, he’s such a good dude. And so I was like, this dichotomy of, like, that whole situation got me and I was like, I was like, thought of it.
[00:19:17] Noah: I was like, “Oh, that’s pretty cool.” And then I made the hat. Started to, like, people ask me about it. Started to sell it and then s- people started talking shit and I was like, “Oh no, somebody’s talking shit to me.” But now I don’t care. I wear it in all our social media videos. It’s like my brand. Sell a bunch of hats.
[00:19:32] Noah: I got some hoodies. I’m gonna start doing some different kinds of, you know, merch. I got some, this new hat I’m making that’s pretty sweet.
[00:19:38] Brad: Yeah.
[00:19:38] Noah: So I’m pretty excited about it. And then I just, it’s all I wear and it’s, like, my thing. It’s like, just be a good dude. Yeah. Like, be a good man, be a good husband.
[00:19:46] Noah: Like, don’t sit there, like, music and life doesn’t really promote that. Like, these guys that are doing, like, masculine things on social media, yeah, they say it. It’s like, cool. It’s like, cool story. It’s like a, um, to them it’s [00:20:00] You know, like, um, some technology upgrade on your car.
[00:20:03] Brad: Yeah. “
[00:20:04] Noah: I got my car and I’ve got these things.”
[00:20:05] Brad: Yeah.
[00:20:06] Noah: You know? The kid, the wife, the house, right? And you’re like, “No, why don’t you, like, without all that, just be a fucking good dude and shut up?”
[00:20:12] Brad: Yeah.
[00:20:13] Noah: And so that’s what it’s about. It’s like, be a good husband.
[00:20:15] Aaron: So-
[00:20:16] Brad: And do you, on, on that point, do you, uh, I don’t, I don’t know if you know, do you know the artwork that that’s based on, like, the opposite of?
[00:20:23] Brad: Or, like, that it’s modeled after? It- So it’s, it’s a- it’s after Kirill, right? Anti-Social
[00:20:27] Noah: Social- Like
[00:20:27] Brad: Kirill Was Here?
[00:20:28] Noah: Anti-Social Social Club.
[00:20:29] Brad: Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Do you know the guy that’s, like, behind that?
[00:20:32] Noah: I don’t know the guy that’s behind that.
[00:20:33] Brad: But not, like, personally, but you like, you know-
[00:20:35] Noah: Yeah …
[00:20:35] Brad: like, the guy that pushes that.
[00:20:36] Brad: Like, super, like, basically the idea is, like, it’s extremely the opposite- Right … of the message that that hat, that that hat’s pushing. Oh, okay, okay. Like, the complete and total opposite.
[00:20:46] Noah: Okay.
[00:20:46] Brad: Yeah.
[00:20:46] Noah: Yeah, so like- Okay … it, it’s, it’s like a big hit in a lot of ways.
[00:20:50] Brad: Yeah.
[00:20:51] Noah: But, like, every time I wear it, people love it.
[00:20:53] Noah: Mm-hmm. Like, every single day, people are like, “I love this fucking hat.” In fact, funny story. I was at dinner with a bunch of guys [00:21:00] and, um, I don’t even care if anybody hears this, that was there. But it was some guys that were talking about some… Th- one guy didn’t like my hat. I’m gonna try to say this nicely as possible.
[00:21:11] Noah: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Mm-hmm.
[00:21:11] Aaron: Dude- I
[00:21:12] Noah: wonder
[00:21:12] Aaron: why that would be.
[00:21:13] Noah: Maybe- Exactly … maybe, maybe- I wonder why that would be … maybe he was worried
[00:21:16] Brad: you would find out something that he did.
[00:21:17] Noah: 1,000%. Yeah. And so I w- I loved this moment. This moment is, like, what I live for. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I’m like, “All right, cool. We’re here. We’re in this.”
[00:21:24] Noah: Mm-hmm. ‘Cause it hasn’t gotten any, like-
[00:21:26] Brad: We’re in this …
[00:21:26] Noah: w- it hasn’t gotten any bad flack from somebody, like, in person.
[00:21:29] Brad: Yeah.
[00:21:30] Noah: So I was like, “Oh, this is gonna be so much fun,” right? And then he’s sitting there ta- you know, like, just keeps saying things about it, keeps saying things about it, and then we were eating dinner and then- Like
[00:21:37] Brad: what, just little chirps?
[00:21:38] Noah: Yeah, but like- Yeah … you know, trying to, like, make it right what he thinks and how, like, it’s okay or blah, blah, blah, and you know, he’s married and has kids. And, um, I don’t hang out with this person, but I was this evening specifically with this person and a bunch of other people, and, um, he didn’t eat meat.
[00:21:57] Noah: And I was like- [00:22:00] I looked at him and go, “Hey guy, you don’t eat meat, but this is not cool?” And like, that, you know what I mean, that other stuff. I go, “Make it make sense to me right now.” He
[00:22:06] Aaron: goes for the other meat.
[00:22:07] Noah: Yeah. That’s what I- I was like, that’s what it was like. You go to the other meat. That’s what it is.
[00:22:12] Noah: But like, literally I was like, “Dude, make it make fucking sense. Your religion won’t allow you to eat meat, but you’re cool with messing with girls on the side of your marriage.”
[00:22:22] Brad: Yeah.
[00:22:23] Noah: How messed up do you have it right now?
[00:22:25] Brad: Yeah,
[00:22:26] Noah: yeah. That’s it. Yeah. Now you know who that person is and what they’re about.
[00:22:29] Noah: And I’m like, “All right, cool. I don’t need to be around this person ever again.” Yeah. Wow. Worst person on earth. Like, I don’t need to.
[00:22:33] Brad: Yeah.
[00:22:33] Noah: So, the hat is cool for all these ways. It really provokes that.
[00:22:38] Brad: Funny enough, I, in an earlier part of my life, was very big into like clubs, party girl, you know, blah, blah, blah, whatever.
[00:22:45] Brad: Yeah, yeah. W- uh, me and a couple friends of mine actually hired that guy to come to a party in Tampa.
[00:22:51] Noah: Oh, sh-
[00:22:52] Brad: So that, that dude, uh, who does the Antisocial Social Club thing- Yeah … the, one of the most miserable human beings I have ever [00:23:00] encountered in my life.
[00:23:00] Noah: Wow.
[00:23:01] Brad: Maybe the mo- Like, in terms of just like, like dar- Like in, the person seems like a great person.
[00:23:07] Noah: Right.
[00:23:08] Brad: But what he’s doing is just caving in his entire universe on him. That’s what I see. That’s horrible. Like dark cloud just pwoo. It’s not even cloud. It’s like a dark fog- Yeah … that kinda just like follows him around.
[00:23:18] Noah: Yeah.
[00:23:18] Brad: Miserable.
[00:23:19] Aaron: So, so when you’re saying you hired the guy to what, bring a bunch of girls in?
[00:23:22] Aaron: What’s the, what’s the deal?
[00:23:23] Brad: Not exactly.
[00:23:24] Aaron: No, so- I’m trying to understand what, why you hired this guy for, dude. Well, I’ll
[00:23:26] Brad: give- Like I’ll give like, kinda like the CliffsNotes version. This guy basically, uh, became famous for spraying women with champagne- Okay … in clubs, right? And posts it on social media, blah, blah, blah.
[00:23:37] Brad: He’s been deleted off, uh, Instagram and TikTok. Um, we shouldn’t, shouldn’t put the handle in or anything- Sure, sure, sure … ’cause he’s like not a, not a good dude. Yeah, it’s fine. It’s all good. But like, he’s been deleted off TikTok and Instagram like several times. Like get to a million followers, boom, account deleted.
[00:23:49] Brad: Like again and again. And he started this merch brand, which I presume is how he’s funding his life. It’s Antisocial Social Club. You’ll see people wearing it around in airports. I see it all the time.
[00:23:57] Noah: Yeah.
[00:23:58] Brad: So we hired him to come to [00:24:00] a party. Uh, it’s not that he like would bring girls to the party, but it’s like, it’s like a cool thing.
[00:24:05] Brad: He’s like a party influencer.
[00:24:05] Aaron: Yeah, he’ll do an after party. He comes and the girls will come and get champagne
[00:24:08] Noah: on them. If, if you wanna have
[00:24:08] Brad: a party- Yeah, exactly …
[00:24:09] Noah: if you wanna have a club- Yeah, you promote, promote it or- … you don’t promote it to dudes.
[00:24:11] Aaron: Yeah. Yeah,
[00:24:12] Noah: yeah, yeah. That’s right. The, the girls will bring the dudes, the dudes will spend the money.
[00:24:15] Noah: Oh, y- But the girl, like it’s like a whole- Yeah … it’s like a whole strategy. You know what I mean? That’s right. You gotta have the girls. So like he brings the girls, he brings the E, the evils.
[00:24:21] Brad: Yeah, he’s like the pole, basically. Yep, yep. Yeah, that’s right. So what I love about that is I’m like, “Okay, I need to get one of those.”
[00:24:27] Brad: Yeah. ‘Cause I’m like, “So give me the link after.” Yeah. Actually, what’s, what’s the link?
[00:24:31] Noah: We’ll put it in. It, it literally is this. Like if you- Okay. The
[00:24:33] Brad: whole thing Antisocialclub.com. Yeah .com Love that. Like, yeah. Love that.
[00:24:36] Noah: Or you like, you Google it and it’ll
[00:24:38] Brad: come up. It’ll
[00:24:38] come up. Okay.
[00:24:39] Brad: Yeah.
[00:24:39] Noah: Yeah. So-
[00:24:40] Brad: But the, the punchline that I was, I was gonna, point I was gonna make is like- That, the, the other side of that, the opposite of what you’re promoting literally will make a person completely miserable.
[00:24:51] Noah: Yeah.
[00:24:51] Brad: Even the guy who’s, like, the guy that everyone else wants to be, miserable bro.
[00:24:55] Noah: Well, that’s the thing, like-
[00:24:56] Brad: That broke my reality when I saw that …
[00:24:58] Noah: it, and it’s wild, like, that you [00:25:00] say that, and it’s such a good point to make. People see this facade-
[00:25:05] Brad: Hmm …
[00:25:06] Noah: of, like, that life.
[00:25:08] Brad: Yeah.
[00:25:08] Noah: And they think that’s… It feels good.
[00:25:11] Noah: No. People are doing this because they’re trying to numb whatever they can’t handle- Mm … or have tried to handle and failed.
[00:25:20] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:25:20] Noah: Like, it’s not– You– Like, that’s the thing, like, this whole world is not what you think it is, right? And if you’re stuck in your phone, and if you’re stuck in this reality over here, this is all you see is this fancy cool blue bottle.
[00:25:36] Noah: And so the truth is here, and you’re so used to being stuck here. It’s like, have you seen that movie WALL-E?
[00:25:41] Mm-hmm.
[00:25:42] Noah: That’s gonna be- Yeah, yeah, yeah. Of course … in real life. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do you see them? Yeah. They’re on the screens. They’re, they’re fat. They can’t even fucking walk. Like, they’re like, “Ah,” and this thing is just feeding them.
[00:25:50] Brad: Yeah.
[00:25:51] Noah: Right?
[00:25:51] Brad: Yeah.
[00:25:52] Noah: And, like, you l- And people don’t want you to be… Like, and this is what the thing is about artists is artists are the people that break that mold.
[00:25:58] Mm-hmm.
[00:25:59] Noah: Hmm. Artists are the [00:26:00] people that are the opinion leaders. Artists are the people that are creators. So we are creating better things in life and more aesthetics and beauty.
[00:26:09] Noah: Mm. Whereas on the other side doesn’t want that because they need you fixed over here. Mm-hmm. The beauty is what pulls you out. Mm. That’s why artists are so important. So that’s why artists are so mu- so suppressed because it’s like that’s the real fight that goes on. And then you see, like, somebody like that or this.
[00:26:24] Noah: They want you to think the cars are cool. They want you to think the drugs, the women, the this. Every single one of those people are miserable because they’re trying to solve a problem that they have no idea how to solve or have tried it and failed.
[00:26:37] Brad: Yep.
[00:26:37] Noah: And that is the end of that line.
[00:26:39] Brad: Completely agreed.
[00:26:40] Brad: And, like, literally that was my life prior to finding Scientology.
[00:26:43] Noah: See, sa- the exact same.
[00:26:45] Brad: Yeah.
[00:26:45] Noah: Like exact same. Like, I’ve got… I mean, like, my face proves it. I’ve got this, still have a broken nose. I got this scar here. There was a hole through my face. I flipped a car. Like, I’ve done it because just trying to find an answer.
[00:26:59] Noah: Mm-hmm. But [00:27:00] the wrong, all the wrong ways. Every single wrong way. Yeah.
[00:27:04] Aaron: So what, what was like- You know, one thing, um, when you get in Scientology, right?
[00:27:09] Mm-hmm.
[00:27:10] Aaron: One thing that we do is we, we, we talk about the past. We talk about what happened, right? We talk about things- Right … that occurred, and we actually look at damage that we did ourselves- Right
[00:27:19] Aaron: so we can repair it and fix it. We call it make up the damage. Um, so what’s like a time when you noticed and you realized, you know, either sleeping around, cheating on girls, whatever it was, that you really like hurt somebody that you’re like, “Damn, dude, this… I really did something I’m not proud of.” And like, mm, you can move on from that.
[00:27:38] Aaron: You learned what you did and why. Why is it that doing this stuff is not good?
[00:27:42] Noah: So what would happen to me, it was always cycles. I knew… The, the crazy thing is, and I guarantee everybody goes through this, and if you say you don’t, you’re fucking lying.
[00:27:53] Mm.
[00:27:54] Noah: Like hands down, you’re lying. So it’s, I know I shouldn’t be doing this.
[00:27:59] Noah: Yeah.
[00:27:59] [00:28:00] Mm-hmm.
[00:28:00] Noah: But I can’t stop myself from doing this. Mm-hmm. It’s like weird. You have this voice that you’re like, it’s like, “You shouldn’t be doing that.” But the emptiness is, well, what am I supposed to be doing? Mm. So because that’s not there, you’re like, “Well, that doesn’t make sense,” right? So I would get into enough trouble or something bad would happen, and then I’d be like, “This isn’t who I am.
[00:28:24] Noah: Something fucked up.” Accident, a fight, arrest. It… something would go down, and then I’d be like- So
[00:28:31] Aaron: what’s one that like sticks out? Like one thing that you’re like, “Man…” Well- You know, ’cause it’s like a lo- the thing is a story, right? If it’s a bunch of stuff, it’s like fine, but like a thing.
[00:28:39] Noah: I mean, I’ll give you the thing that then, and then I’ll like kinda spear into like what got me basically into Scientology- Right.
[00:28:48] Noah: Yeah, okay Make it easy, like two birds, one stone.
[00:28:52] Mm.
[00:28:53] Noah: Um, I had quit smoking cigarettes. I was dating this girl, and that happened– The reason [00:29:00] why I say that is ’cause I started drinking a lot more, ’cause your cigarette, you’re like, “Oh, yeah.” And so you have that– I was drinking a lot more because of that. My– I was dating this girl.
[00:29:11] Noah: She ended up cheating on me with one of my really, really good friends. Mm. So, uh, and it fucked me up pretty bad. So I was out with somebody, and we were hanging out, we were drinking. We left, and I took my car, had this beautiful fucking black BMW, and I was like, “All right, let me take one of these canyons in LA and drive up it.”
[00:29:31] Noah: And there’s obviously one for one way, one for, you know, up, one for up, one for down, one lane, right?
[00:29:36] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:29:37] Noah: And so I was like, “I’m gonna go in between all these cars and just fucking see how fast I can make it to the top.”
[00:29:41] Brad: Mm. “
[00:29:41] Noah: And I don’t give a shit what happens. Pedal to the metal.” Like, run it. I don’t give a shit.
[00:29:47] Noah: Like, I, I, you know, I’m not talking to my parents. I don’t have a significant other.
[00:29:51] Brad: Yeah.
[00:29:52] Noah: Like, I’m– What am I? I don’t have a kid. Like-
[00:29:54] Brad: Mm. No purpose …
[00:29:56] Noah: no purpose. Yeah. Let’s go. And so I blacked out and fucking [00:30:00] nailed this SUV. Car was totaled. Um, I went to jail, lost my job, then lost the apartment I was living in.
[00:30:09] Noah: It was pretty fucked up.
[00:30:10] Aaron: Mm.
[00:30:10] Noah: So then-
[00:30:12] Aaron: Any, no casualties?
[00:30:13] Noah: No, no, no. Everybody was fine, which thank God ’cause I was in jail. I was like, “Man, I hope that guy’s okay.”
[00:30:17] Aaron: Mm-hmm.
[00:30:18] Noah: And then the next day you’re like What am I supposed to do? Mm-hmm. Mm. Like, you know, ’cause there’s insurance, there’s jail. I was supposed to be at work that day.
[00:30:30] Noah: It was just a whole thing. So it was like, this is… Like, you can’t get any lower than this, in my mind. Like, this is the lowest that I’ve gotten from what I said a second ago. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. And so I was like, I just went into the church and was like, I knew it from before. I was familiar with it, you know? And here and there I’ve done some things, but it was like…
[00:30:51] Noah: D- you know what? I’m gonna say this for everybody out there, because I think for me it’s super real and needs to be said. I was like, “I don’t wanna hang out with these fucking [00:31:00] nerds.”
[00:31:00] Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
[00:31:01] Noah: Like, I have friends that are cool.
[00:31:03] Mm.
[00:31:04] Noah: You know what I mean? They’re like, that’s what my thing was. I was like, “I’m not gonna do Scientology.
[00:31:09] Noah: That’s lame.”
[00:31:10] Mm-hmm.
[00:31:11] Noah: Like, it didn’t make sense to me. Drugs, women, all that other stuff made more sense. I’m gonna lose my friend group.
[00:31:19] Brad: Mm.
[00:31:20] Noah: Right? If I do Scientology.
[00:31:23] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:31:24] Noah: But look at my friend group.
[00:31:26] Brad: Yeah.
[00:31:27] Noah: If you really look at it from an outside point of view, and entrepreneurs, everybody, they talk about this shit, right?
[00:31:31] Noah: They’re like, “You gotta upgrade your people.”
[00:31:34] Brad: Yep. “
[00:31:34] Noah: Upgrade your life.” It’s like a whole thing. So I was like, “Nah, fuck that.” But then I was like, “I have nobody.” Like, what am I gonna do? Where am I gonna go? The only thing I knew was the church. Yeah. And so I rolled in there. I had very little money, and I was like, “Take everything I have.”
[00:31:55] Noah: In fact, I called a friend. I was like, “Hey, man, if I go broke, do you have my back?” He’s like, “Yeah.” [00:32:00] Because I didn’t care how much money it costed. When you
[00:32:01] Brad: say very little money, how much? Like, what are we talking
[00:32:03] Noah: about? 2,000.
[00:32:04] Brad: Yeah.
[00:32:04] Noah: You know what I mean? And it’s not that… A- and, and this is really important for people to understand.
[00:32:10] Noah: Like, if you wanna learn how to be a fucking doctor or a chef, you pay to go to school.
[00:32:16] Mm.
[00:32:18] Noah: So this BS about Scientology and money and stuff like that, you’re paying for a fucking service at the end of the day. You’re paying for people to be there to help you through that service.
[00:32:29] Mm-hmm.
[00:32:30] Noah: And you’re lucky ’cause it’s tax-deductible ’cause it’s a church.
[00:32:33] Noah: Mm-hmm.
[00:32:33] Mm-hmm. So
[00:32:34] Noah: shut up. You know what I’m saying? Yeah. Like, let’s just nip that stigma in the butt right now. Yeah. You know what I’m s- Like, it’s just like you want a, a taco, you go buy a fucking taco. You don’t bitch at the guy saying, “Well, here’s… You know, it’s not back in the day. How about a fish? I’ll trade you.”
[00:32:48] Brad: Yeah.
[00:32:48] Noah: No, it’s not that. So anyways, I was like, “Whatever it takes is the point.” My mentality is whatever it takes. If it takes my money, if it takes my time, like whatever, just tell me what to do. I have nobody. [00:33:00]
[00:33:00] Mm.
[00:33:00] Noah: And so-
[00:33:01] Aaron: How did you know to go there?
[00:33:03] Noah: I mean, uh, my parents were dabbling in Scientology as I was growing up because they were having problems in their marriage.
[00:33:10] Mm-hmm.
[00:33:10] Noah: Right? And so I was kind of going to the church here and there, but you know, I was a kid. You, you heard my story about clubs and… I mean, that is way more fun-
[00:33:20] Mm-hmm …
[00:33:21] Noah: as a kid than being in a room studying.
[00:33:24] Aaron: Mm-hmm.
[00:33:25] Mm-hmm.
[00:33:25] Noah: That’s, that wasn’t me. You know what I mean? I didn’t go to high school, not one day.
[00:33:30] Noah: Like, I’ve never been to high school, never been to eighth grade. Like, my whole life is crazy. And so- So
[00:33:36] Aaron: you knew of Scientology, but you weren’t-
[00:33:38] Noah: I
[00:33:38] Aaron: knew of it … you didn’t like, “I’m a Scientologist.” That wasn’t like…
[00:33:41] Noah: No. I was like, “I don’t wanna hang out with these nerds.”
[00:33:43] Aaron: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:33:43] Noah: I don’t want… You know what I mean?
[00:33:45] Noah: Like comparatively speaking-
[00:33:46] Aaron: So you were in and out, you’re like, “Ah, forget this. Never mind.”
[00:33:48] Noah: Yeah. Yeah. Forget it. I’m not doing this. I would do it because my parents were like, “Hey,” like, you know, they want me to be better. They see me going off the wrong side of the tracks, blah, blah, blah. Mm-hmm. And they’re like, “Let’s…
[00:33:58] Noah: How do I save my son?” Mm-hmm.
[00:33:59] [00:34:00] Mm.
[00:34:00] Noah: But you, you, you have to save yourself. Yeah. Nobody’s gonna do it for you. That’s right. That’s right. Like, you have to look at it and go, “This is something that I need,” right? You know, my parents dabbled in it, whatever, that kind of thing. It wasn’t for me, and I was like, “You know what?
[00:34:11] Noah: I’m not dealing with this.” But I did know that it helped.
[00:34:14] Mm-hmm.
[00:34:14] Noah: I did know that… Because, again, like I was– This is kind of interesting. I never really thought of it this way, but I was doing fucked up things, and then my parents would say, “You need to go to the church.” So it did have that stigma of, this is a place to go to fix things.
[00:34:30] Mm-hmm. Mm.
[00:34:32] Noah: And subconsciously I didn’t realize that. Now for the first time, I’m like, “Oh, duh,” right? I get it. Like sitting here saying it, I’m like, “Oh, wow.”
[00:34:39] Aaron: Oh. “
[00:34:39] Noah: Interesting.” You know what I mean?
[00:34:40] Aaron: So it finally got
[00:34:40] Noah: to you. So like, so like it finally-
[00:34:42] Aaron: Slowly. So you’re like, “No, no, no,” and then finally you’re like, “Hmm, maybe I should.”
[00:34:45] Noah: So the idea was there, and so anytime I got into trouble, I would find myself in the church, and then would fix, I’d go back out on the streets.
[00:34:54] Brad: Oh.
[00:34:55] Noah: You know what I mean?
[00:34:55] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:34:56] Noah: Getting in enough trouble. So it was a back and forth until [00:35:00] that moment, which I just explained, explained, was my last moment.
[00:35:02] Noah: Because that was like, I could’ve died. Mm. I could’ve killed somebody, right? I could’ve been in jail forever. I could’ve lost like freedom as it was. Like- Mm … I did lose everything. Like, I ended up having to fucking skateboard everywhere.
[00:35:17] Brad: Mm. ‘Cause you couldn’t drive.
[00:35:18] Noah: Couldn’t drive. Just skateboarding.
[00:35:20] Brad: So you, you lost your driver’s license as a result of that, that
[00:35:23] Noah: accident.
[00:35:23] Noah: Lost my driver’s license. I lost the car, obviously. It was fucking totaled. Yeah. Lost my place to live. My job fired me. Like, it was just, it
[00:35:31] Aaron: was- And insurance won’t cover it ’cause you were basically drunk. Or what?
[00:35:35] Noah: So…
[00:35:36] Aaron: I just don’t know how that works. Like
[00:35:38] Noah: if you’re a DUI, no. You know what? It’s like I’m about to say something that is not okay that I did.
[00:35:41] Aaron: Yeah.
[00:35:42] Yeah. It’s
[00:35:42] Noah: fine. And that’s all I just want you to understand. It’s not okay.
[00:35:46] Yeah.
[00:35:47] Noah: I called the next day and I called insurance and I told them what happened. Well, actually, let me back up. So when the car… This is like a testament to who I am, is when the car had the accident, you know how [00:36:00] a lot of the, the cars have the SOS button?
[00:36:02] Mm-hmm.
[00:36:04] Noah: When are you ever gonna get to press that?
[00:36:06] Brad: Right, right, right.
[00:36:07] Noah: So my first instinct was, “Oh, I can press this.” Finally.
[00:36:14] Brad: I’ve been waiting. In
[00:36:15] Noah: like this massive fucked up moment, I’m like, “Ha! I get to press the button.” Yeah. So I pressed the button, and it’s OnStar and they’re like, “Are you okay?” I’m like, “Yes.”
[00:36:25] Noah: “Do you need an ambulance?” I’m like, “No.” And in my head I’m like, “This is so cool.” “Do you need a tow truck?” “Yes.” “Okay, one is on its way.” “Thank you.” Like, I was like, “This is the coolest technology ever.” And you know what? I think she started talking to me before I pressed the button, but I was like, “Fuck it, I’m here.
[00:36:44] Noah: I get to press it. I’m gonna press this button.” So when the cops got there, they were doing my, this field sobriety test and everything like that ’cause I was fucking off the rails.
[00:36:53] Brad: Oh, yeah.
[00:36:54] Noah: I was so drunk. And the tow truck came, picked up the car, but the… It was [00:37:00] my OnStar, not LAPD. So if it’s LAPD, they tow and they impound the car.
[00:37:06] Noah: They have to deal with that, pay for it to get out, whatever the fees are. It’s a mess. Yeah. Yeah,
[00:37:09] Brad: yeah, yeah.
[00:37:10] Noah: But OnStar came and picked it up first.
[00:37:13] Brad: Mm.
[00:37:14] Noah: So I got fucking lucky when the cop was like, “Oh, wow, they got here fast.” And I had no idea. I’m like, “Ah ha.” Like, “I don’t fucking know,” you know? So, you know.
[00:37:23] Noah: It’s so stupid. But like, then the next day after I get out of jail, um, I literally like call the insurance company, like, “Hey, my car was totaled.” They’re like, “Was there alcohol involved?” I go, “The officer was trying to say it is. There wasn’t.” You know? Okay, blah, blah, blah. I kept trying to fight. I worked at this bar on Sunset.
[00:37:44] Mm.
[00:37:44] Noah: And one of the guys that was a regular was a lawyer. So I was like, “Hey man, I need your help.” So he was, like, helping me, and I was trying to push the case and trying to find some way to get out of it.
[00:37:51] Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
[00:37:52] Noah: Like, you can get out of this situation. Yep. Yep. And the car was fucked up. I can show you a picture.
[00:37:56] Noah: But… And, like, a wheel was missing. Like, it was- [00:38:00] Wow. Yeah. Like, just snapped off. So then the insurance company, whatever, handled… But because I had Gap insurance, insurance and the, and they picked it up, not LAPD.
[00:38:12] Brad: Mm.
[00:38:12] Noah: I got a check for almost $7,000.
[00:38:14] Brad: Wow. ‘
[00:38:15] Noah: Cause that was the damage, right? The
[00:38:17] Aaron: value. If the cops would’ve gotten it, that wouldn’t have happened?
[00:38:20] Noah: No. No. I mean, maybe I would’ve gotten the check. Maybe they would’ve total it. I don’t know. You don’t know. They probably- Because they had the car … they’ll probably give it to you. Fine. Yeah. You know what I mean? Mm-hmm. The point is is, like, I took that money.
[00:38:30] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:38:30] Noah: And was like, “This is a sign of, like, you need to fix…”
[00:38:35] Noah: Like, like, it was it. If the next thing is death. Mm.
[00:38:38] Brad: Yeah.
[00:38:39] Noah: The next thing that happens to me is death. Guaranteed. ‘Cause that had
[00:38:41] Brad: the only way you go down from
[00:38:42] Noah: there. Only way.
[00:38:43] Brad: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:38:44] Noah: I’ve rolled cars. I’ve done all sorts of sh- like, up until this point. My wife will tell you that I have a guardian angel.
[00:38:50] Brad: Mm.
[00:38:50] Noah: She has no idea how I’m still alive with the that’s happened to me. But, like… And I’m alive because I’ve literally gone in and fixed whatever was happening in my life, [00:39:00] but then, you know, you hang out with the same people, you’re in the same… You know, like, if you’re a crack head and you just quit doing crack, you don’t go back to the crack house.
[00:39:07] Noah: Of
[00:39:08] Brad: course not.
[00:39:08] Noah: No. I would get fixed. Well,
[00:39:10] Brad: most of them do.
[00:39:10] Noah: Most of them do. Right, exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:39:12] Brad: Yeah.
[00:39:12] Noah: You know, you gotta get your fix. But not if you’re trying
[00:39:13] Brad: to change. No, not if you’re trying to
[00:39:15] Noah: change. Not if you’re gonna be effective. Yeah, yeah. Right. So, like- It’s
[00:39:16] pretty
[00:39:17] Noah: much impossible … I would– It was pretty much me getting better going back to the crack house.
[00:39:20] Noah: Like, that was- Yeah … my life.
[00:39:21] Yep.
[00:39:22] Noah: But, like, I knew where to get better.
[00:39:23] Yep.
[00:39:24] Noah: But it wasn’t until I was like, “All right. Well, the next step is death.” So whether I like and have the things about my friends or whatever ideas I have about life.
[00:39:34] Aaron: Mm. ‘
[00:39:34] Noah: Cause it wasn’t about Scientology. I didn’t have any ideas. It was, like, my stupid that I was going through mentally, right?
[00:39:41] Noah: And that made- You were
[00:39:42] Aaron: trying to hold on …
[00:39:42] Noah: Yeah. And it was, like- to all that stuff … dictating the changes- Yeah … of what I was going through. And I was like, “The, the next step is death, so I’m not… I don’t wanna die.”
[00:39:50] Aaron: That’s a good start.
[00:39:50] Noah: Right? I was like, “If I’m gonna rock bottom, I’m like, ‘Oh, this is it.’” So-
[00:39:53] Aaron: Yeah
[00:39:53] Noah: you know, I used whatever money I had, and I didn’t end up going broke or anything like that. You know what I’m saying? Like, I had [00:40:00] residual checks coming in from different jobs I’ve done, but it was just like, I just wanted to have, like… I was like, “I’m gonna do whatever it takes.”
[00:40:06] Aaron: And where was it? Where’d you go?
[00:40:07] Noah: Uh, Celebrity Center in Los Angeles.
[00:40:09] Aaron: Okay.
[00:40:10] Noah: Yeah.
[00:40:10] Aaron: And what did you do? Like, what was, what was that thing that- I don’t know.
[00:40:15] Noah: So really what it was was
[00:40:17] Aaron: Dianetics. Okay.
[00:40:18] Brad: Oh my God. Makes
[00:40:19] Noah: total sense. Dianetics is like the fucking truth.
[00:40:22] Aaron: Mm-hmm.
[00:40:23] Noah: Um, and it’s so special that people don’t realize, like Dianetics could literally singly, single-handedly handle everything you see that’s going out there.
[00:40:33] Noah: Like everything, everything that is going on in mental health today can be fixed with Dianetics. Mm-hmm. Guaran-fucking-teed.
[00:40:43] Mm-hmm.
[00:40:43] Noah: And it’s, and drives me up a wall when you have a guaranteed fix and you’re too much of a wuss to come in there and do that shit yourself.
[00:40:53] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:40:53] Noah: Like you’re too proud, and I get it.
[00:40:55] Noah: I was too. But you only have so much time.
[00:40:58] Brad: Mm-hmm. [00:41:00]
[00:41:00] Noah: And it could be too late. Like, your decisions are all m- based on what you’re going through. And obviously look at my decisions then. Look at my decisions now. I’m successful. I got a beautiful wife, beautiful son. I’m here with you guys to talk about it. Yes.
[00:41:13] Noah: I’m alive. Yes. I’m healthy. Mm-hmm. Kind of. I’m coughing.
[00:41:20] Noah: But like, you know, it’s, it’s, it was that. So I got a bunch of, um, auditing on Dianetics with the things that were really causing me problems in my life. They’re like, “What…” You know, I did some talking with some people just to find out, you know, what’s going on, and I’m like, “This is what’s going on. Blah, blah, blah.”
[00:41:38] Noah: You know, and I was like… They’re like, “Okay, cool. Let’s, uh, tackle that.”
[00:41:42] Brad: Mm-hmm. “
[00:41:42] Noah: Let’s not try to fix everything at one time.” So the more I just would come in, get Dianetics, fix that, and then eventually I got to the purification rundown- Mm … which rids you of all toxins and drugs that’s, are in your body, and I think there’s like, don’t quote me on [00:42:00] this, it’s like over 166 some odd toxins that are just- Mm
[00:42:04] Noah: stuck in your body- Mm-hmm … that happen to not al-allow you to think clearly. You’re foggy, making decisions, your reaction time, like everything.
[00:42:13] Brad: Yeah.
[00:42:13] Noah: Like w- like, you know what I mean? Like, I tell people all the time to stop explaining. I go, “Hey, have you ever been drunk?” And they’re like, “Yeah.” I go, “Cool. You know how you feel the next day?”
[00:42:19] Noah: They’re like, “Oh, my God.” I go, “That’s your life.”
[00:42:22] Brad: Yep.
[00:42:23] Noah: That’s literally, you don’t know it, but that’s what you’re going through.
[00:42:27] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:42:28] Noah: So the first step I would do is clear your fucking body.
[00:42:31] Brad: Yeah. ‘
[00:42:31] Noah: Cause pe- and look at today. If you look at like the ’70s, there were not a lot of fat people.
[00:42:36] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:42:36] Noah: Of course there’s gonna be fat people, but there wasn’t like today.
[00:42:39] Noah: Like, you eat an Oreo, that is not real food.
[00:42:42] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:42:43] Noah: And you’re causing all this body problems, and then, you know, look, alcohol, body problems. Like it’s, it’s obvious. Something that comes in, causes a anomaly, and look at you.
[00:42:54] Brad: Yep.
[00:42:54] Noah: So like the world is doing that, and there’s toxic in the air, and you know, materials, whatever.
[00:42:59] Noah: [00:43:00] Clear that out, think clearer, make better decisions. So it was Dianetics and then it was Purif, and then I just continued the next steps that were laid out in front of me.
[00:43:10] Mm-hmm.
[00:43:11] Noah: Because I was like, it’s, it’s really, really simple. It’s these are the steps to be successful.
[00:43:18] Brad: Mm.
[00:43:18] Noah: You just have to walk the path.
[00:43:20] Brad: Mm-hmm. That’s it. I was walking the other path. On yeah. Yeah, to the other, the other thing. On, on the point of, uh, on the Purif, did you have any, any drug use before that?
[00:43:32] Noah: Yes.
[00:43:33] Brad: Yeah. How, like, how, like- So
[00:43:35] Noah: much ecstasy … how much, how much was it? So much ecstasy.
[00:43:37] Brad: Oh, really?
[00:43:38] Noah: Oh, yeah. I don’t know what they call it now, but we, it called it candy flipping back in the day, and it was ecstasy and acid at the same time.
[00:43:44] Brad: Oh my God, damn.
[00:43:46] Noah: Yeah. That was a good time.
[00:43:48] Brad: Yeah.
[00:43:49] Noah: Um, what else? I never really got into, like, cocaine. It was so funny. I used to say this as a joke. Now it’s not funny, but like, and then it was like I didn’t like [00:44:00] sushi and I didn’t do cocaine. And I was like, “If I like su-” Those are like Give me this. You ready?
[00:44:07] Noah: Yeah. This is where I’m going with this. If you know clubs, if I liked sushi and did cocaine, I’d have way more bitches. ‘Cause that’s all they cared about. “Let’s get some sushi.” And like, you know what I mean? Like, at the time, right? They were like- Yeah, 100%.
[00:44:23] Brad: 100%, right?
[00:44:24] Noah: 100%. So, like, I didn’t do that. So, like, when, when I would be like…
[00:44:26] Noah: I was a club promoter in Hollywood for a while. Yeah. Yeah. So I was like, “I don’t eat sushi.” Wow. So you got all these women eating sushi with the other club promoters. Oh my God. Like, “Oh, sushi.” And then later on they’re like Let’s go. I’m like, “Hmm, I don’t-”
[00:44:41] Brad: Yeah.
[00:44:41] Noah: You know? So it was like-
[00:44:42] Brad: Yeah …
[00:44:42] Noah: just outside of it.
[00:44:44] Brad: Wow. ‘
[00:44:44] Noah: Cause like, again, I knew this is not the life I wanted to have.
[00:44:48] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:44:48] Noah: But I still wanted to play this stupid game. So, you know, weed, liquid G, I don’t know, Special K. I don’t know what that is. What is liquid G? What
[00:44:55] Brad: is liquid G?
[00:44:55] Noah: What is Special K? Liquid G is a, the date rape drug. So it’s like you take like- You would
[00:44:59] Brad: ingest [00:45:00] that?
[00:45:00] Noah: Yeah.
[00:45:01] Brad: Oh, wow.
[00:45:01] Noah: So you take like a cap full of it.
[00:45:03] Brad: Yeah.
[00:45:03] Noah: And it would be the equivalent of like a ton of alcohol, right? Instant drunk. So you would take it and you’re just like, you know.
[00:45:11] Aaron: But you pass out?
[00:45:14] Noah: You can. You don’t always have to. But like, look, if I’m doing it to myself I’m not raping me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:45:23] Noah: You know what I mean? Like I’m not, it’s, you know, it’s not, this is not a joke like that this happens. Yeah, yeah. It’s horrible, but like I’m not doing anything to myself.
[00:45:28] Yeah.
[00:45:28] Noah: I’m aware. And you pass out all the time. If I pass out, whatever happens to me happens to me.
[00:45:32] Aaron: Why take that?
[00:45:34] Noah: I’m like, you know, why take any drugs?
[00:45:35] Noah: Yeah, yeah. Why anybody taking any drugs? Yeah. Like what is the point- Okay … of any of that at all? Because again- Uh-huh … what we said to, to, you know, back to the beginning is you’re trying to fix a problem.
[00:45:46] Mm-hmm.
[00:45:47] Noah: And you have no idea what the solution is. Mm-hmm. And if you even maybe you do know what the solution is, but you’re too weak to act on it.
[00:45:56] Noah: Mm. Or afraid or whatever the thing is. And that’s the truth, and [00:46:00] it’s hard for me to like be up here. It’s not hard, it’s easy for me to say that, but it may be hard for people to hear. But nothing ever got done by being nice.
[00:46:10] Mm-hmm.
[00:46:11] Noah: Like I had a friend of mine, I was like making, we were making fun of each other and I was like making fun of him ’cause he’s fat, but he’s in the gym every day with me at like 5:00 AM.
[00:46:19] Mm.
[00:46:19] Noah: Like, so he’s doing it. He’s looks great, lost a lot of weight. And he was like, I was like, “No, I can’t. I feel bad, so I’ll make fun of you.” You know? He’s like, “Dude, it’s fine. If somebody would’ve done that, maybe I wouldn’t be in this position.”
[00:46:31] Brad: Mm.
[00:46:32] Noah: Wow. Interesting.
[00:46:33] Brad: Wow.
[00:46:34] Noah: Right? So like I- You’re making
[00:46:35] Aaron: fun of him because he was fat?
[00:46:36] Noah: Yeah, because you’re making fun of me ’cause I was short.
[00:46:38] Aaron: Okay. Okay.
[00:46:39] Noah: And we’re like the same height. Yeah, yeah. Oh,
[00:46:40] Aaron: yeah, yeah. Yeah, we’ve gotten so sensitive like these days. Yeah. Like, come on, dude. Like- Yeah,
[00:46:43] Brad: it’s true …
[00:46:43] Noah: like I don’t care. Like it’s really funny the shit that he says. Yeah. And I’m like, “Shit. Like what am I gonna say?”
[00:46:47] Noah: And like I can only… Well, it’s obvious, you know? You can’t walk sideways through a, a regular door.
[00:46:55] Aaron: Right, right, right.
[00:46:56] Noah: And then I was like, “Look at me.” And I’d like walk through something really thin. You [00:47:00] know what I mean? Like, “Who am I? Not you.”
[00:47:04] Brad: That’s so funny.
[00:47:06] Noah: But like, I felt bad. I was like, “Oh man, I’m just really drilling this dude,” you know? And it was like, “No man, if somebody would’ve done that to me earlier, I wouldn’t be in this position.”
[00:47:13] Brad: Mm.
[00:47:14] Noah: Like, if someone had told me the truth- Wow … I wouldn’t be in this position.
[00:47:17] Brad: I’ve never heard that. Yeah, that’s a- I’ve never
[00:47:19] Noah: heard that-
[00:47:20] Noah: a good
[00:47:20] Brad: statement.
[00:47:21] Aaron: No. Of like a person that lost weight and they said, “Listen, that, you like poking fun at me actually got me to lose weight.” Mm.
[00:47:29] Noah: Yeah, because like you, it, it sucks because a lot of people, like it is, there is some joking and degrading involved, right? Which isn’t necessarily okay because you wanna uplift more people.
[00:47:40] Noah: But at the end of the day, if you have a guy coming to you that’s like, “This problem, this problem, this problem, this problem, this problem.” You’re like, “Okay, here’s help, here’s help, here’s help, here’s help.” Soon you gotta look at him and go, “Hey, you’re being stupid. This is your problem and until you fix that, you’re gonna be up.”
[00:47:59] Mm-hmm. [00:48:00]
[00:48:00] Noah: What are you gonna do?
[00:48:00] Mm-hmm. ‘
[00:48:01] Noah: Cause like- Yeah … I told a guy he was, you know, I was helping him with his divorce and everything like that, and then eventually one day I looked at him, I go, “You can’t talk to me about this anymore.”
[00:48:11] Brad: Mm.
[00:48:13] Noah: You have not said one positive thing about the day that’s gonna be today.
[00:48:18] Noah: Like, what are you gonna do about today? Like, we used to have this– There’s this saying in dance, it was like, how you started your, the routine was how you went through the whole routine.
[00:48:27] Brad: Mm.
[00:48:27] Noah: So it’s like, if you started with high energy, b- like you’re gonna carry that all the way.
[00:48:31] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:48:31] Noah: If you’re like meh, like you’re gonna be meh the whole…
[00:48:33] Noah: You’re not gonna like all of a sudden find it.
[00:48:34] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:48:35] Noah: Mm-hmm. It’s not gonna happen. Oh, wow. You know what I mean?
[00:48:37] Oh,
[00:48:37] Brad: wow. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That must be such a myth then.
[00:48:39] Noah: Yeah. So it’s like, it’s like you start it and you’ll finish it that way.
[00:48:43] Brad: Right.
[00:48:44] Noah: Like, you know what I’m saying? Like, “I’m excited about this.” Yeah, you’ll go through stuff, but you’ll still end up– Even if you go a little bit down tone- Mm-hmm
[00:48:51] Noah: you’ll still be more excited.
[00:48:52] Brad: Yeah.
[00:48:52] Noah: Versus, “I’ve already started at a low level.” ‘Cause you know, things don’t, things aren’t still. The world, cells, like [00:49:00] everything, molecules, whatever, it’s not still. Yeah. So you have to go in some kind of direction, and you either go up or you go down. You never stay the same.
[00:49:07] Noah: If you stay the same, that’s down. Yep.
[00:49:09] Brad: Yep. That’s
[00:49:10] Noah: right.
[00:49:10] Brad: Right?
[00:49:10] Noah: It, it’s real simple stuff. So like, you know, I looked at him, I was like, “You gotta start saying good things. What’s your plan? Where you gonna go? What’s next?” Because we can talk about this till we’re blue in the face.
[00:49:23] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:49:23] Noah: But unless you have a plan, unless you’re gonna do something good, you’re gonna stick in this area for g- You’re never gonna leave it.
[00:49:30] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:49:30] Noah: You’re gonna be this guy. And so it’s like you have to be able to look at something and be like, “This is a problem,” and then be willing to confront it, ’cause that’s what it really is, is your ability to confront anything-
[00:49:42] Mm-hmm …
[00:49:43] Noah: and the higher confront you have on that thing, the easier it is for you to handle.
[00:49:47] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:49:48] Noah: Like a bill. “I don’t wanna pay my Amex. Mm.” What happens? It goes away. Amex
[00:49:53] Brad: is shut off.
[00:49:53] Noah: Shut off, whatever, right? Yeah. But like that’s the only problem. I gotta pay my Amex. So whether it’s your last $50 or [00:50:00] not, pay the Amex ’cause then like it’s not your problem. Mm-hmm. You handle the problem that’s in front of you, and then worry about the next thing.
[00:50:09] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:50:09] Noah: That’s always the way it’s gonna be. It’s never gonna change.
[00:50:11] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:50:12] Noah: And if you act that way, no matter how much you like it or not, that’s what entrepreneurs do. That’s what people that are super successful do. Like you just keep going and handle the problem, the next problem, the next problem, the next problem, the next problem.
[00:50:23] Brad: Mm.
[00:50:23] Noah: And then all of a sudden you’re like, “Wow, I’m in this p- place. I have this stuff.” Like my life is better. Holy . The cool thing about Scientology is, is it gives you, it has the data on how to easily, at your gradient level, confront what you need to confront in order to handle it. Now you’re starting to handle life.
[00:50:43] Noah: Mm-hmm. Now, you know, Scientology is knowing how to know. Now you’re starting to know-
[00:50:46] Brad: Mm …
[00:50:47] Noah: how to know about where you’re at. Do you know what I mean? So now it’s like, “Oh, now I’m handling life, not because I have this anthill and I have to have this thing to handle this anthill, and blah, blah,” you know? No. You get [00:51:00] all this data on ants and all these things, and all of a sudden you’re like, “Oh man, I love this anthill.
[00:51:04] Noah: I understand this anthill. I don’t need it here, but I don’t wanna kill them. Let’s move it over here.” And then you have the data and you fix it, and now ants are happy over here. You save some kind of ecosystem, and you don’t have ants in your wherever. You know what I mean?
[00:51:16] Brad: You ever see where they pour the liquid metal down the anthill to, like, see what the shape it is?
[00:51:19] Brad: I mean, they probably kill all the ants, which is rude.
[00:51:21] Noah: Yeah.
[00:51:21] Brad: But-
[00:51:22] Noah: Yeah. I love
[00:51:22] Brad: watching that stuff
[00:51:23] Noah: You ever see that? Oh, that’s crazy … like the, the metal stuff- Yeah, yeah … and they’ll, like, put a metal ball in gel or what- Like, I don’t know.
[00:51:27] Brad: All that stuff. The, the hot metal ball?
[00:51:29] Noah: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I’m talking about?
[00:51:30] Noah: Oh, no. I love that shit. Unfortunately. That shit’s so good.
[00:51:32] Brad: Unfortunately, I know exactly what you’re talking about. Yeah. What, what was the, like… So as you’re cleaning up your life, you know, I can’t imagine it’s just like sunshine and lollipops and rainbows after you’ve been going- Bro,
[00:51:43] Aaron: what about the pur- I wanna know about the purif.
[00:51:43] Aaron: Good. Good
[00:51:44] Brad: question.
[00:51:44] Aaron: So when you do the purif-
[00:51:45] Brad: Yeah …
[00:51:45] Aaron: what, so you did- Yeah, yeah … you did all this stuff. Like, y- y- your body has all sorts
[00:51:49] Brad: of stuff in it. Wait, wait, wait. Hold on. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Oh, go. Special K. What’s Special K?
[00:51:52] Noah: Oh, yeah.
[00:51:52] Brad: And we can go right back
[00:51:52] Noah: to purif. I, I, um, listen, it’s been a long time, but all I remember is, is like a some kind of a horse tranquilizer.[00:52:00]
[00:52:01] Noah: And I could be wrong about that, but this is what I remember, and I just remember- You don’t
[00:52:06] Aaron: look into it. You’re like, “You want some?” “Yes.”
[00:52:08] Noah: Yes. Right? Like- You, you, yes So date
[00:52:10] Brad: raping and horse tranquilizing yourself.
[00:52:11] Noah: At least I was doing damage to myself and not other people. You know what I mean? That’s right.
[00:52:14] Noah: Yeah. So I was on the up and up, I guess. It’s a little higher, higher bandwidth- Oh, man … of doing up shit, you know what
[00:52:21] Brad: I mean? Okay, sorry. So,
[00:52:22] Noah: sure. I did up shit the right way. But like, I ended up in some car hanging out the sunroof at, like, 100 miles an hour with, like, these goggles on. I don’t know. Just Caded out to my mind.
[00:52:34] Noah: It’s awesome. Yeah.
[00:52:35] Aaron: Wow.
[00:52:36] Noah: That’s what
[00:52:36] Aaron: they call it. I don’t know. So, so fine. Your body, uh, y- you got all this stuff.
[00:52:39] Noah: Yeah. Yeah.
[00:52:40] Aaron: You’re starting Scientology. Did you do the purification- Yeah … rundown?
[00:52:43] Noah: Yes.
[00:52:44] Aaron: So I want, like… Dude, what happens on that, bro? I wa- That’s what I wanna know.
[00:52:48] Noah: It’s so cool because it’s so basic.
[00:52:52] Noah: It’s vitamins and sitting in the sauna.
[00:52:55] Aaron: Yep.
[00:52:55] Mm-hmm.
[00:52:55] Noah: That’s it. You’re getting the crap out and replacing it with [00:53:00] new, good things for your body.
[00:53:01] Mm-hmm.
[00:53:02] Noah: Everything stays in your fatty tissues, right? Except for, like, LSD, which goes to your spine. That’s why it’s so dangerous- Mm … because you can, like, adjust this way and have a little bit of a, like, it could have a crystal in there, and then a crystal could activate, and then you’re tripping balls.
[00:53:16] Brad: What? Oh,
[00:53:17] Aaron: wow.
[00:53:17] Noah: Yeah. So, like, LSD has, like, different effects. Did you know that?
[00:53:20] Aaron: No, dude.
[00:53:21] Noah: Don’t quote me on everything I say. I’m very close to knowing it 100%.
[00:53:24] Brad: Yes.
[00:53:25] Noah: 99% is just data, okay?
[00:53:26] Brad: Wow.
[00:53:26] Noah: But yeah. So, like, and I’ll say it really crude and, like, simple and straight instead of, like-
[00:53:30] Brad: Yeah, yeah …
[00:53:30] Noah: use all the …
[00:53:31] Brad: No, but it totally makes sense though.
[00:53:32] Noah: Right. So it, it has… That’s why LSD is, like, a little bit more dangerous. But you get to take everything that’s in there, the toxins, and pull it out, and, like, to the point where, like, my reaction time was faster. I was looking faster. Like, I’d move faster. Like, my body was like a ninja. Like, I just felt really good, like a reset that, like, I’ve never felt before.
[00:53:52] Noah: Mm. And then from that point, which is really cool ’cause you’re like, “Now I got all this stuff out of me,” you don’t really wanna put it back in you.
[00:53:58] Brad: Yeah, totally.
[00:53:58] Noah: Right? So it [00:54:00] helps stop, like, that process as well, so. And again, like, a lot of times, like sugar.
[00:54:06] Brad: Mm.
[00:54:06] Noah: Sugar’s super addicting.
[00:54:07] Brad: Mm.
[00:54:07] Noah: But it’s in your body.
[00:54:08] Brad: Mm.
[00:54:09] Noah: It’s, it’s… Right? Mm-hmm. And so you have to detox from that sugar. You have to detox from drugs ’cause it’s in your body. It’s super simple, like, this stuff is in your body.
[00:54:17] Brad: Yeah.
[00:54:17] Noah: So purification rundown is a way to get it out of your body-
[00:54:21] Brad: Right. Yeah …
[00:54:22] Noah: so that you can live and know what it’s like to not have it.
[00:54:25] Noah: You see kids, they’re amazing. They’re wonderful. The reaction times, all that stuff.
[00:54:30] Brad: They’re, like, bursting with energy.
[00:54:31] Noah: Bursting with energy.
[00:54:32] Brad: Yeah.
[00:54:32] Noah: Right.
[00:54:33] Brad: Yeah. They
[00:54:33] Noah: have no-
[00:54:33] Brad: They don’t wanna take a nap.
[00:54:34] Noah: They don’t wanna take a nap.
[00:54:35] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:54:35] Noah: They’re not toxified- Mm-hmm … the way we are as adults. Monster energy drinks, foods, anything you can imagine.
[00:54:43] Noah: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Yeah. It’s all there. You know? Like, I think, um, there was a purification… I th- I don’t know if Tom Cruise did it or s- that’s what I heard, I could be wrong. Somebody paid for and built a purification, um, program for the firefighters- Yep … or the first responders. Mm-hmm. Was that… Who did [00:55:00] that? Do you remember that?
[00:55:00] Noah: Who did it?
[00:55:01] Brad: My understanding is that- I don’t remember that. The, I… My understanding is that- No clue. Yeah.
[00:55:06] Noah: I, I heard that- But it’s September 11 you’re
[00:55:08] Brad: saying?
[00:55:08] Noah: Yeah, September 11. Okay. Yep. Fine. Right?
[00:55:10] Brad: Yeah, fine.
[00:55:10] Noah: But anyways, these guys had white towels- Mm-hmm … and they would show purple.
[00:55:15] Brad: Well, dude, Brett Miller talked about that.
[00:55:16] Brad: We had him on.
[00:55:16] Aaron: Yeah, yeah.
[00:55:17] Brad: Yeah. Yeah, he was talking about that.
[00:55:18] Noah: Yeah, it’s like the purple-
[00:55:20] Brad: Mm-hmm …
[00:55:21] Noah: was coming out of their skin. I remember sitting in the sauna and being like, “Who the fuck put sunscreen on?” Rah, rah, rah. Like, getting, like, angry. Like, the smell is crazy. And I was like, “Oh,” you know, I’ll sweat with this towel I have, and then I was like, you know, the sunscreen is coming out of me.
[00:55:38] Aaron: Wow.
[00:55:38] Noah: So this stuff is coming out of the pores- Mm-hmm … from the sweat, and it’s, like, wild, and you just feel amazing.
[00:55:45] Aaron: Had you ever tried to come off of the drugs before the purification rundown?
[00:55:52] Noah: I mean, I was never really somebody that was like super addicted to like drugs. I was [00:56:00] addicted to all the other things that encompassed it or the people.
[00:56:03] Noah: And so it wasn’t like I had a problem like coming off drugs.
[00:56:07] Mm-hmm.
[00:56:08] Noah: It was like I had a problem coming off the life that-
[00:56:11] Brad: Mm …
[00:56:11] Noah: was around drugs.
[00:56:13] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:56:13] Noah: That’s really what my problem was. So but still it was like, you know, you think you wake up messed up, you think you wake up tired, you think your body has this, you think…
[00:56:24] Noah: We all think to some degree that something is going on and this is the cause. But nine times out of 10 you’re completely wrong.
[00:56:33] Brad: Yeah.
[00:56:33] Noah: It’s literally this thing over here. It is always this thing over here. And especially like I said with Dianetics, it’s like it’s literally this thing that is mentally going on that needs to be fixed and can immediately be fixed with Dianetics- Yep
[00:56:47] Noah: and then you won’t have that problem anymore. The purification handles the body. So before you handle the mind, you have to handle the body ’cause it’s like it’s just is a step, right? Like- Yeah … you look at it. Look how people are that are super overweight, look how they feel. Look at [00:57:00] fogginess, all this stuff.
[00:57:02] Noah: It’s literally obvious and it’s right in front of your face. It’s nothing special. Like people look at Dianetics and Scientology and stuff like that, oh, this thing. It’s not. It’s literally the most basic .
[00:57:13] Mm-hmm.
[00:57:13] Noah: But you are just somehow looking at it like some weird thing because you’re too much of a wuss to go read about it because somebody sa- It’s like the same thing I was doing.
[00:57:23] Noah: Like I was drugs and all that because I’m too afraid about these people telling me what to do or whatever. Like get over yourself.
[00:57:29] Brad: Yeah.
[00:57:30] Noah: You’ll never fix anything in your life. And like look, this is a really like thing I wanna say, like really prime example. There’s so much crap out there.
[00:57:38] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:57:39] Noah: Ayahuasca, some weird tent and sweating
[00:57:42] Noah: Like there’s so much weird – Mm-hmm, mm-hmm … that you are doing. Yeah. And it’s not working.
[00:57:48] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:57:49] Noah: And you’re still not trying Scientology. Like what? It makes no sense.
[00:57:54] Brad: Yeah, it’s whack.
[00:57:55] Noah: It’s whack. It’s makes you- Uh-huh … it, it’s like blows my mind. You’re so willing to like, [00:58:00] like these health kicks, cool, whatever.
[00:58:02] Noah: Like all these things, but you’re literally looking at the one thing that says, “I guarantee it.”
[00:58:10] Mm-hmm.
[00:58:12] Noah: There’s no timeline on when that’ll happen because that’s ridiculous. Nobody knows when everybody’s different, everybody’s is different. But this will inevitably fix it.
[00:58:21] Mm-hmm.
[00:58:22] Noah: And you’re gonna go, “Meh.”
[00:58:24] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:58:25] Noah: Get out of here, you don’t want it. Go out then leave. It’s not like you don’t want the help, fine. But there- Yeah … ev- but the cool thing about even in being a staff member and being a Scientologist is like the mentality really is, is no matter what you say, I’m still always gonna be here to help you and I still always love you.
[00:58:41] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:58:43] Noah: And you all promote the same that we do. Taking care of people, love, you know, even religiously, like being ethical.
[00:58:54] Mm-hmm. Do
[00:58:55] Noah: you think it’s different? You, you know what I mean? There’s no difference.
[00:58:59] [00:59:00] Yeah.
[00:59:00] Noah: It’s all everybody’s saying the same shit. The cool thing about Scientology is, is a actual workable technology in how to handle what the hell you’re talking about.
[00:59:10] Noah: It is applied religious philosophy. Mm-hmm. You have to apply it. Just like if you’re in the gym, you have to work out. Like in nutrition, you have to handle your nutrition-
[00:59:19] Brad: Mm-hmm …
[00:59:19] Noah: to handle the problem. Yeah, maybe you don’t like the diet you’re on. But you’re not gonna be fat, and then you’re gonna learn how, what it’s like to eat right, and then you’re gonna make your decisions.
[00:59:29] Noah: Uh, same thing, Scientology. Go learn, go fix your problem, and then make your decisions better based off of that.
[00:59:36] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:59:36] Noah: And then look at your life flourish and prosper.
[00:59:38] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[00:59:39] Noah: It’s real simple.
[00:59:40] Brad: Mm.
[00:59:40] Noah: It’s none of this internet everybody says. Look at me, like, I’m a testament of it. Like, I’ve… I wouldn’t be who I am without it.
[00:59:48] Noah: So it’s, like, super important for me to say all that because it’s like I’ve never got a chance to say that, like, on a platform like this. It’s like you guys try so much dumb . And it’s ridiculous and, like, listen, it’s [01:00:00] cool. Sound bath, bing, like… Whatever. I’m not knocking it.
[01:00:05] Aaron: Yeah, yeah.
[01:00:05] Noah: I’ve been in a sauna.
[01:00:06] Noah: My buddy had one of those sound things. It was cool to relax. You know, I’m with it. I just am like, it’s never gonna be a fix. It’s like literally putting lipstick on a pig. Yeah.
[01:00:14] Aaron: Yeah, well, that- That’s right … I, I, I think you, you mentioned this, like, uh, psychedelic thing. I wanna say, you know that big pharma actually purchased a bunch of this stuff, right?
[01:00:22] Aaron: Like- Yep … so the same guys that did the Prozac- They’re loading up … did the Lexapro, Vyvanse- They’re loading up … Abilify, all that stuff.
[01:00:27] Mm-hmm.
[01:00:28] Aaron: And you hear this thing like, “Oh, those… That doesn’t work anymore, but psychedelics now do.”
[01:00:32] Right.
[01:00:32] Aaron: But literally that’s just big pharma ’cause they’re getting attacked so hard on that thing.
[01:00:36] Aaron: Right. They need to get another cash cow.
[01:00:37] Noah: Right.
[01:00:37] Aaron: And they’re buying up- That’s right … all these different things. I don’t know if you saw that but that’s- Mm-hmm … that’s crazy. Mm-hmm. It’s literally like- Yeah … it’s not anti-big pharma. It is big pharma.
[01:00:44] Noah: Yeah. Right. That’s right. And that’s why Scientology is being attacked in general.
[01:00:46] Noah: Yeah. Like, you think, like, peop- That’s, this is what people need to understand. You think, like, the stuff that’s in social media is, is not purposefully driven-
[01:00:54] Mm-hmm …
[01:00:55] Noah: toward to attack Scientology? Scientology literally guarantees betterment. [01:01:00] The other side doesn’t want you better. Mm-hmm. This is the war we’re in.
[01:01:04] Noah: This is why Scientology exists. Not to do any of this crazy . It’s literally to make society and life a better place. These people, big pharma, all these people, psychiatric administration, all this other stuff, they don’t want you to.
[01:01:16] Brad: Yeah.
[01:01:16] Noah: It is not profitable for them.
[01:01:18] Brad: Yeah. If you get better, you don’t need them anymore.
[01:01:20] Noah: That’s right.
[01:01:20] Brad: Yeah.
[01:01:20] Noah: You know what I mean? I said something like this the other day on my social media where it’s like, you know, their survival depends on your death.
[01:01:29] Brad: Yep.
[01:01:30] Noah: Right?
[01:01:30] Aaron: Mm. That’s how the, how
[01:01:31] Noah: they
[01:01:31] Aaron: view it. Mm-hmm.
[01:01:32] Noah: But, but you surviving is death to them.
[01:01:35] Brad: Yeah.
[01:01:36] Noah: So it’s like…
[01:01:37] Brad: Which is, which is so crazy ’cause if they just actually changed their mind, it will like…
[01:01:42] Brad: L- like what you just said is true. Like, it doesn’t have to be that way. That’s just the way that they have set up their system.
[01:01:48] Noah: Right. But it’s
[01:01:48] Brad: like they’re, they’re involved. And they just don’t
[01:01:49] Noah: wanna change it. It’s like the- Yeah, of course … it’s like the villain in like, you, you can… In the, in the, in the movie.
[01:01:53] Noah: Like, i- in the end, you see like he has a heart.
[01:01:56] Brad: Yeah.
[01:01:56] Noah: But then he’s like- Yeah … “that.”
[01:01:57] Brad: That’s ri- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:01:58] Noah: That’s right. Every single time.
[01:01:59] Brad: Yep.
[01:01:59] Noah: [01:02:00] So it isn’t about, like, trying to make the villain better. Of course. It’s, it’s about getting the villain out of the way. You gotta win. You gotta get him out of the way.
[01:02:06] Noah: Yeah. And as much as it sucks- Absolutely … to say that because you love people-
[01:02:09] Brad: Mm-hmm …
[01:02:09] Noah: and you care and you want the world to be a better place, so you still want these evil people to be better.
[01:02:13] Brad: Yeah.
[01:02:14] Noah: But- It is what it is.
[01:02:18] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[01:02:18] Noah: And you have to be able to… Like, e- e- even in, in war, like I’ve never been to war or anything like that, like I know that there are gonna be casualties- Mm-hmm
[01:02:27] Noah: and there are gonna be people that you have to leave behind no matter what. The sacrifice of, of one to save many is always a better outcome. What’s- Yeah … the greatest good for the greatest number.
[01:02:38] Aaron: Yep.
[01:02:38] Noah: You know what I mean?
[01:02:38] Aaron: Absolutely.
[01:02:39] Noah: And that’s what matters.
[01:02:40] Aaron: Have you ever met, uh, any Scientologist that was taking a psychiatric drug?
[01:02:46] Noah: No.
[01:02:47] Aaron: Ooh. Me neither. That’s a good question. Like zero. One- Yeah, same. No … I, it’s, it’s 0%, uh, uh, or the mar- Scientology market for psychiatric drugs is zero. It’s zero. It’s zero. It’s zero. I mean, it’s zero. Yeah, yeah.
[01:02:57] Noah: No.
[01:02:57] Aaron: Like that, that’s, that is a fact and, and [01:03:00] I’ve, I’ve haven’t met anybody ever. Yeah. Now, okay, some Scientologists that might have taken a drug or something like that, like weed or something like that exists.
[01:03:06] Aaron: Yeah, yeah.
[01:03:07] Noah: I mean, it does exist. Yeah. Well, why do you think we’re here? Right? Like we’ve done all the things. There’s people that have done 10 times worse things than me- Yeah … in life- Mm-hmm … but that are now a Scientologist, but it’s like you don’t wanna do those things, you don’t wanna be those things.
[01:03:17] Noah: Right. You found the fix. You realize that this is the way to handle the situation, so you go handle it. Yeah. But like those things aren’t for you. I mean, look, my wife and I were looking at it the other day. It was something like, um, may cause heart disease or, and death, and you’re like-
[01:03:33] Brad: Yeah … “
[01:03:33] Noah: Oh, can’t wait to just pop that pill-“
[01:03:35] Noah: because my anxiety is so bad.”
[01:03:38] Brad: May
[01:03:38] Noah: cause- You know what I’m saying? …
[01:03:39] Brad: internal bleeding, heart attack. Yeah. Like, yeah.
[01:03:41] Noah: Explosive diarrhea. I can’t wait to just be somewhere in the line at Starbucks- … and be like, “Oh, it hit,” and like, “Ugh,” and then heart pro- die, and you’re like, “What happened to this guy? Oh.” And then-
[01:03:53] Aaron: He got convinced he had a chemical imbalance
[01:03:54] Aaron: Travolta or whatever the . Yeah. He, he… Yeah, yeah, yeah. You see what I’m
[01:03:56] Noah: saying? Right? Yeah,
[01:03:57] Aaron: because he saw a commercial that said he had a chemical imbalance.
[01:03:59] Noah: Yeah. And then, you [01:04:00] know, they’re all like- Yeah Like, motherfucker, you’re on anxiety meds. You’re not skipping around
[01:04:07] Brad: No
[01:04:08] Noah: You’re like
[01:04:09] Brad: Yeah. That’s the other thing is I’ve never seen somebody on something like that who’s like, “I just took my drugs and now I feel so great.”
[01:04:15] Brad: Like they just go down, like flattened. Yeah,
[01:04:17] Noah: they always go down because all it, all it is doing is literally like numbing the pain. Mm-hmm.
[01:04:22] Brad: Yep.
[01:04:23] Noah: And you’re, you’re… Again, and I’m gonna say this and I’m gonna get some slack for it, and I don’t care because this is something I really promised myself the other day was like, you are too weak if that’s the route you go.
[01:04:34] Noah: It just shows you’re weak. It shows no strength. You have no, like, integrity. You have no want to get better, like, and actually go do that. You’re weak if you make that decision. The strong survive, that’s always been the saying, and you’re gonna survive better using the technology of Scientology. You’re going to survive worse if you’re that way.
[01:04:55] Noah: But again, nobody can– Everybody can bring you to the, you know, to [01:05:00] the water. We can’t make you drink.
[01:05:01] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[01:05:01] Noah: And, you know, the, we, I don’t care if you drink or not. My life is literally amazing and it’s going better and it’s constantly… Sure, there’s bad times, but it’s like I have the tools to fix it.
[01:05:12] Brad: Yep.
[01:05:13] Noah: So like I’m bettering life and then I can be on here and talk and better other people’s lives.
[01:05:17] Noah: So that’s what life should be about. If you do it any other way, then you’re weak as , man. It’s just the truth.
[01:05:24] Aaron: Yep.
[01:05:25] Noah: You don’t have the stones to do it.
[01:05:26] Aaron: Yeah.
[01:05:28] Noah: It’s facts.
[01:05:28] Aaron: So whe- when did you make the move from being like a Scientologist, right? You did the Purif, you did the stuff to like, “Hey, I’m gonna do this-” Mm-hmm
[01:05:37] Aaron: like actually as a staff member, like dedicate a lot of your time to helping other people. I mean, ’cause you don’t become a staff member for yourself.
[01:05:45] Noah: No, no. It, it wasn’t about that. Um, I had gotten to a point where I had read and understood enough information to realize that true, [01:06:00] like, the true being-ness of, of, of you or, or you or me is to help other people.
[01:06:07] Mm.
[01:06:07] Noah: I heard this saying one time and it was… The, the way it was said was so beautiful, and I’m so just gonna butcher it anyways. It was like, “You know how you can’t take your own advice? But, like, the guy that can’t take his own advice has the best advice for you.”
[01:06:18] Mm.
[01:06:19] Noah: Right? ‘Cause we weren’t meant, we were– to take our own advice.
[01:06:22] Noah: We’re meant to help people.
[01:06:24] Mm. Wow.
[01:06:24] Noah: And that was the story. Oh, wow. And, and the way it was said was so beautiful, and again, I’m butchering it, but it was like, it w- had all these trees and this earth, and it had all this like scenic, like story. Beautiful. But it was like, we’re meant to help other people is why we can’t take our own advice.
[01:06:37] Brad: Wow.
[01:06:37] Noah: Right? Which was interesting. So I look at it and I go, in, in the war of life, are you just gonna sit there and do nothing?
[01:06:45] Brad: Don’t do nothing.
[01:06:46] Noah: Don’t do nothing. You see him? His life just was like, “I can stop doing this podcast now. It’s come to culmination. Everybody gets…”
[01:06:56] Brad: This is like getting to say, “Don’t do nothing,” is like what Aaron lives
[01:06:58] Noah: for.
[01:06:58] Noah: You’re like… Yeah. It [01:07:00] comes around, like I planned this whole thing. No.
[01:07:03] Brad: It’s like, it’s all one story arc- Yeah, yeah … into “Don’t do nothing.”
[01:07:05] Noah: Yeah, right? And now we can end here, cut. No. Um, but it’s like you literally, and it’s like you’re gonna sit there and have the information that fixes other people and not do something about it?
[01:07:15] Noah: Selfish ass. Anybody who’s been successful in life or anything that’s good in life is always helped other people.
[01:07:22] Mm.
[01:07:22] Noah: You’ve gotten to a certain state in life, and then you’ve gotten to this echelon of, of, of a person as an individual only by helping people.
[01:07:31] Mm-hmm.
[01:07:32] Noah: You get to, you, you selfishly get yourself out of the hole and figure things out, and then the next big thing is to help.
[01:07:38] Brad: Yeah, ’cause it’s almost like you get your head up and you look around and you’re like, “Oh my God, where is everybody?”
[01:07:42] Noah: Where… Yeah.
[01:07:42] Brad: And you’re like, “Oh , they’re down. I gotta go
[01:07:44] Noah: get ’em.” Yeah. “I gotta go help these people.” Yeah. Now I know. Now you take the energy and everything like that, that you now have- Mm-hmm
[01:07:48] Noah: the new invigorated like strength, and you go, “I’m gonna help these people.” Yep. You know what I’m saying? Because like they were- If there was nobody to help me, I wouldn’t be here right now. Yeah. Yeah.
[01:07:59] Aaron: Hmm. [01:08:00] Yes.
[01:08:00] Noah: You know what I’m saying? I would not be here right now. Wow. So like, if I help one person, I did my job.
[01:08:05] Noah: Mm-hmm.
[01:08:05] Aaron: Mm-hmm.
[01:08:05] Noah: Now I’m, now I’m gonna help way more because I’m gonna be a staff member and stuff like that. And it’s like, that’s the reason why I, I wanna do it. I want to help other people get out of this stuff. I wanna be as real as I am, and as like cutthroat as I am, and be that person that said in the beginning was like, “Hey man, you’re getting fat.”
[01:08:23] Mm-hmm.
[01:08:23] Brad: Mm-hmm. “
[01:08:24] Noah: Don’t know if you know this or not.”
[01:08:25] Brad: Yeah.
[01:08:25] Noah: And they’d be like, “I didn’t think about that.” And you’re gonna have to fix it.
[01:08:29] Brad: Yeah.
[01:08:29] Noah: But here, I can help you fix it. Yeah.
[01:08:31] Aaron: Tough
[01:08:31] Brad: love. Yeah.
[01:08:31] Noah: Tough love, but you’re not gonna leave them hanging.
[01:08:33] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[01:08:35] Noah: You know? But just sometimes that’s what you need.
[01:08:37] Brad: Tough love, not crush love.
[01:08:39] Noah: There you go. Exactly.
[01:08:40] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[01:08:40] Noah: He’s like, “I…” He’s like, “I came up with that.” You’re like, “
[01:08:44] Brad: Good.” I did, literally just now. It
[01:08:45] Noah: was good. I know. Thank you. I can tell. It was good.
[01:08:47] Brad: Okay, what’s your favorite L. Ron Hubbard book?
[01:08:50] Noah: I, I, I immediately thought “Dianetics.”
[01:08:52] Brad: Yeah.
[01:08:53] Noah: I really did. Like, there’s so much good out there, man, that he…
[01:08:57] Noah: There’s so much information. It’s like [01:09:00] endless. But “Dianetics” is what’s gonna get– It’s what’s gonna help society.
[01:09:05] Mm.
[01:09:05] Noah: It’s what’s gonna fix it. It’s really the sauce. That’s why it’s called “The Modern Science of Mental Health,” and that’s why it’s the number one book on mental health. I don’t know if you know that.
[01:09:14] Noah: Number one. It’s, it’s fine.
[01:09:16] Brad: In all of history.
[01:09:17] Noah: In all of history.
[01:09:18] Brad: Yeah.
[01:09:19] Noah: You wanna go do ayahuasca in a tent.
[01:09:22] Brad: Weird.
[01:09:23] Noah: Or sweat. Yeah. Or s- yeah. Like you just, you wanna sit down and read a book. You know, maybe find out some words you don’t understand, clear them up. Makes a little bit more sense. Who knows? Yeah.
[01:09:32] Noah: But no, go ahead. Have fun in your tents.
[01:09:34] Aaron: What is your favorite, uh, quote, uh, by L. Ron Hubbard?
[01:09:39] Noah: Oh, man. I know I wasn’t prepared for this. I have it. Hold on. Let’s go. I have– There’s so many. It was so hard for me to do this. And it’s, “The supreme test of a thetan,” of a being, of a spiritual being, “is his ability to make things go right.”[01:10:00]
[01:10:00] Brad: Mm. Beautiful
[01:10:03] Noah: And then there was one other thing that he says about happiness, and I wanted to just say that.
[01:10:08] Brad: Mm-hmm. ‘
[01:10:08] Noah: Cause I think everybody thinks that they wanna be happy, and that’s the goal is to be happy. Happiness is the o- is the overcoming of not unknowable obstacles.
[01:10:19] Mm-hmm.
[01:10:21] Noah: That’s all happiness is.
[01:10:22] Noah: Very simple. The overcoming of not unknowable obstacles.
[01:10:26] Aaron: Mm.
[01:10:27] Noah: That’s it. The more obstacles-
[01:10:28] Aaron: Toward a known goal, I think is the-
[01:10:30] Noah: Toward a known goal. Yes, thank you. That’s right. Yes. Yeah. I just love the statement so much as a guy. Toward a known goal. Exactly. Toward a known goal. Yeah. But that, like, think about that.
[01:10:36] Noah: You got this goal and you’re overcoming these obstacles that are obvious to you and, like, that’s happiness.
[01:10:41] Aaron: Mm-hmm.
[01:10:42] Noah: So if you’re sitting there doing other things, drugs, women, you know, not taking care of yourself, like all these other things, that’s not happiness. There’s no goal. Mm-hmm. There’s no purpose, right?
[01:10:55] Noah: Like, you’re not overcoming anything, [01:11:00] you’re not gonna be happy. Anxiety, depression, all this crap that, like, these terms that have been made up of, like, how I feel. Fight me on it, I don’t care. Like, I said it. But, like, again, toward a known goal.
[01:11:13] Brad: That’s it. Plus, the, the obstacles you’re running into there seem to be unknowable.
[01:11:18] Noah: Right.
[01:11:18] Brad: They’re like invisible. That’s, that’s such a good point. Unless you read Dianetics, they’re f- they’re, it’s fucking invisible to you.
[01:11:22] Noah: Right. Yeah. And so that’s an even better point. So then you read some Scientology, you find out what is going on. You, “Oh, I gotta know the obstacle. Now I can overcome the obstacle.”
[01:11:28] Noah: Mm-hmm. “Now I’m starting to be happy.”
[01:11:30] Aaron: Yep.
[01:11:32] Noah: No. But go in a tent somewhere if you
[01:11:35] Aaron: want. Ta- ta- talking about that, and, and I wanna- … I wanna, I wanna ask you o- o- one question here, which is, um, uh, she actually just walked into the studio, uh, your wife, and, uh, h- how did you guys meet, and, uh, what’s the story behind that?
[01:11:48] Noah: Oh, man. I feel like you should have her tell you that.
[01:11:51] Yeah. ‘
[01:11:51] Noah: Cause she just tells it, like, so much more beautiful. But basically, we met at this one dance job. She was really mean to me[01:12:00]
[01:12:02] Noah: I was just trying to make conversation. We were the only people there, and I was like, “So what’s your name?” Like, whatever. Butchered her name ’cause it’s French Canadian. It’s Claude. And I was like, “Cloud?” And was like, “Hmm,” you know, just totally not there. And, um, you know, then years later we met again at some dance industry thing and I was like, “Damn, what’s up, girl?”
[01:12:26] Noah: And I got her number. She didn’t remember me because I had a huge beard. Like not this, it was like fucking massive. Like, wah. And when I first met her, I didn’t have a beard. And then I got her number, and then three months later she finally answered my text. Let’s go. You know? Three fucking months. She goes…
[01:12:45] Noah: And then, you know, that’s pretty much history. There’s a lot of really cool serendipitous moments in that. I will– If you wanna ask her, she’ll tell you. She tells them really, really well. I always hand the mic to her. I’m like, “Okay, you do the rest.” But it, yeah. And then it was like, [01:13:00] you know what? I’m gonna say this one thing.
[01:13:02] Noah: When I did have that accident, when I did go to the church and say, “Help me,” I did marriage courses ’cause I was having a problem with women.
[01:13:12] Mm-hmm. Mm.
[01:13:13] Noah: And it was my, it was my issue with me was like, that was causing these ripple-down things. And so I did these marriage courses and I was like, okay, I understood what a relationship is, how to start, how to change it-
[01:13:29] Mm
[01:13:29] Noah: how to fix it, and how to keep it creating. It was like these three courses, and as you do three of ’em, you have a full conceptual understanding of what a relationship is and marriage is. Yeah.
[01:13:40] Mm-hmm.
[01:13:40] Noah: Right? And so I was like, oh, so I knew. So I had a couple women that were like, “Hey, Noah, let’s be together.” I was like, “No.
[01:13:49] Noah: No. Stop.”
[01:13:55] Noah: Don’t. But like, you know, I’m just kidding. But you know, I knew, [01:14:00] like, what am I gonna do? I’m gonna date somebody? I’m gonna hang out for four years and then end it? Yeah. Like, what’s the purpose of getting with somebody?
[01:14:08] Mm-hmm.
[01:14:08] Noah: Everybody wants to get with a significant other. Why? Cool. So then I learned the reason why, and then so now I’m like, I don’t want this.
[01:14:16] Noah: And then she came along and I was like, “Shh.” Like this fills all those things. But I was super nervous.
[01:14:23] Mm.
[01:14:23] Noah: So I was like, I didn’t wanna fuck it up like I did in the past.
[01:14:25] Mm.
[01:14:26] Noah: So I was really, really nervous about the whole thing. So, you know, for a while I was like, this is not my girlfriend, you know, like this dumb shit.
[01:14:33] Noah: But eventually it was like, I’m, this is gonna be what it’s gonna be. Like this is… And I had to look at it and go, “This is gonna be the rest of my life.”
[01:14:40] Brad: Mm.
[01:14:41] Noah: Like you gotta know.
[01:14:42] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[01:14:44] Noah: Am I gonna jump ship or am I gonna do this thing? And so I stayed. I did it. I was like, “This is what is supposed to happen.”
[01:14:53] Noah: And then we’re here. Since. And it’s worked out pretty well so far.
[01:14:59] Brad: Lovely.
[01:14:59] Noah: But yeah, we have, [01:15:00] you know, a beautiful marriage, beautiful son. We work together. Like, we literally do everything together. Like, there’s not… It’s pointless to do anything, like, not together. It’s really, really cool. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
[01:15:11] Aaron: Amazing.
[01:15:12] Noah: Yeah.
[01:15:13] Aaron: And in your own words, what is Scientology?
[01:15:18] Noah: Uh, Scientology is knowing how to know. It’s, it’s literally like there’s so much stuff going on in the world and, and things because you don’t know. If you were to tell me right now how to build a– b- tell, tell me to go build a building, I’d be like, “I’m gonna go to the bar.”
[01:15:38] Noah: Like, you immediately, right? The, the, the, the defeat, the confusion, the anxiety, the weird things, it all enters in. But if I knew the steps, I’d be like, “Sick. Building’s gonna be the best building ever in your face.”
[01:15:54] Mm-hmm.
[01:15:55] Noah: I’m gonna make it a point to make this building amazing because I [01:16:00] know you have the knowledge, right?
[01:16:02] Noah: There’s a thing in, in Scientology that’s called, uh, the KRC triangle: knowledge, responsibility, and control.
[01:16:07] Mm-hmm.
[01:16:08] Noah: You can’t control something, you can’t be responsible over something you don’t know anything about it. Mm-hmm. So Scientology is the knowledge of life and how to handle it and how to be in control.
[01:16:18] Noah: So now you know how to know about life, and so now you can handle things. Your problem isn’t that you have problems. The problem is you just don’t know.
[01:16:28] Brad: Mm-hmm.
[01:16:28] Noah: Scientology is the only technology that is gonna give you the knowingness and the knowledge to fix anything.
[01:16:33] Brad: Mm.
[01:16:34] Noah: And that’s what it really is. It’s none of this…
[01:16:38] Noah: The . Of course, you’re gonna have people that’s gonna talk . Whatever.
[01:16:42] Aaron: Yeah.
[01:16:42] Noah: That’s life. You gotta have the haters.
[01:16:44] Aaron: Mm-hmm.
[01:16:45] Noah: It shows you’re succeeding. That’s right. It’s pretty obvious. Yeah. Like… But yeah. Uh, you want– You know, there’s one way to not have haters? Don’t do anything? Is to do nothing. To do nothing.
[01:16:54] Noah: To do nothing. To do absolutely nothing. Just sit there and, you know-
[01:16:59] Aaron: The only hater will be [01:17:00] yourself.
[01:17:00] Noah: Yeah. So the solution to that is to not do nothing.
[01:17:03] Aaron: Yeah, correct.
[01:17:03] Noah: Yeah.
[01:17:04] Aaron: Amazing, brother Noah. Thanks for coming on,
[01:17:05] Noah: bro. Dude, thank you so much for having me. I really appreciate it. This was awesome. Sure. Yeah.
[01:17:09] Aaron: Yeah.
[01:17:09] Noah: All right. Awesome, bro.
