The Church of Scientology has over 11,000 Churches, missions and groups around the world. A Church can be pretty large, with the largest, the Church of Scientology Flag in Clearwater, Florida, having thousands dedicated staff, and servicing hundreds of thousands (my estimate) of parishioners yearly, to a group which might be in a remote place with just a couple of people.
I visited the Church of Scientology Atlanta back in 2010, and it was NOT the building you see above at 5395 Roswell Rd, Atlanta, GA 30342. They also offer tutoring for people newly learning English or for young learners.
You are able to meet several of their staff and what they think of the area by watching the series Destination Scientology: Atlanta. For people wanting to experience Scientology and learn what it has to offer in the South, this is the place to go. Members come from South & North Carolina and Alabama to the Church in Atlanta for it’s Auditor training (only one of the Central Churches deliver this kind of training).
The Church accepts any person of any faith, any creed, any nation, any orientation to come in and see what knowledge there is inside. There is no discrimination, and you can simply walk in, you can get the address and phone number, on the Atlanta Church website.
